"Grannyyy I missed you so much" I hugged my grandma gently
"Baby I missed you too, weres yo big headed daddy" her Spanish accent rolled of her tongue, I laughed she still doesn't know about my step mom yet well I guess this the day she'll find out
"He in the car on the phone" she nodded
"Let's get inside, I cooked up your favorite" I smiled widely knowing she cooked up some delicious as Dominican food
The smell of Queso Frito, Salami and Mangu hit my nose "hmmm abuela it smells soo good" if you didn't know abuela means grandma in Spanish
"Baby I'm trying to speak more English" her deep Spanish accent said
"Abuela you actually sounded like an American" I laughed, my parents came Into the house looking like the new power couple I chuckled at myself
"What's so funny mija"
"Nothing abuela"
"Hello Mrs.Rodriquez" my dad respectfully shook her hand
"Mire coño, come give abuela some hug" my grandma pulled my father into a hug, "and who's this beautiful young lady" she looked over at my step mom
"Abuela that's my daddy's wife" even tho my mom left out my life my grandma was still there for me, and helped my father so much, he had so much respect for her
"Well nice to eh' meet you" she nooded towards my step mom
"Alrightyy let's go and eat" I was so excited my grandma said those five words
When we got served out food, my step mother looked at the food weirdly "what is this?" She pointed to the food while my grandma mugged her
"Ma it's plantains with fried cheese accompanied with eggs & salami" just thinking bout it made me hungrier (Food in MM) "she put some extra things like yucca and onions"
"Okay I'll try it" she gave in since my step mom was fully American she didn't know any of the foreign food especially Dominican food
"It's amazing" she was surprised the food actually tasted good
after that we had a full blown conversation and just having a good time catching up on with my grandma
"Mi Amor llegee" I heard my grandfathers deep voice I squealed so loud (translation; My love I'm home"
"Abuelooo tengo mucho que no te as visto" I hugged him tightly, unlike my grandma my grandfather didint know a lick of English I just wonder how my grandma learned it (Translation; grandfather It's been so long sine I visited you)
After we all ate and spoke to each other it was all good, I just have a feeling my grandma don't like Tayla, from the constant mugging to the little Spanish chat my grandparents had looking at Tayla numerous of times, I hope my grandma don't start anything, I know how she goes
Guys I'm not really feeling this story like I used to, what do y'all think please leave me feedback on this story, if I should keep going or not
