Before

There had been an accident.
I don't remember what happened.
I must have passed out or something.
But I knew and I felt it.
I felt you there.
I knew you were there otherwise I wouldn't have come back.
Back from the peaceful place where all I could feel was safe and worry free.
One moment I was standing under an oak tree in the middle of a sunflower field, following their gazes, up to the sun.
When, echoing through the chirping of sparrows and the rustling of sunflower leaves, I heard it.
At first I thought it was god because what else could it be. I was alone in a sunflower field.
But no. It was a voice.
"Hey! Come back!" It yelled frantically. "Please!"
I snapped my head up to the sky, and tilted my it to the side like an intrigued puppy.
The voice sounded so urgent and pleading that I felt the desire to listen to it.
"Don't leave me! Please, I never got the chance".
This only intrigued me further. Never got the chance to what?
I looked around me at all the sunflowers and then above me at the blackbird zooming overhead.
I wondered, "who would ever want to leave this place. Where there is no fear, sadness or worry."
"Come back!" The voice screamed back desperately. 
This snapped me back to the voice coming from the sky and I made my choice.
Instantly, I felt something around me. Warmth and hands.
Hands?
My eyes flew open and I sat up, not realising I had been lying down, and there right in front of me with the most heartbroken expression was you.
Your expression changed to relief and there were tears on my shoulder as I felt warm, secure arms wrap around my entire body.
I was so confused as to what was going on as I looked around feeling numb.
There were people all around me. People I knew and people I didn't know.
All with a similar expression to yours; heartbroken and anxious.
"Hey" you said, gently rubbing my arms up and down with your warm hands.
"What happened" I say.
Tears drip down your flushed cheeks as you reply "I thought I lost you, oh my god".
I wrap my arms around your warm shoulders as you hug me again and all I can feel is love and happiness as I realise I finally have you, and you have me.
