Mahalagang Paalala:

Salamat.

Kevin's POV

"Now, the term Appliqué is derived from the latin word "applicare" which means to join or attach, now tell me where does this techniques usually used for?" tanong naman nung history teacher namin sa harap.

"What's bothering you my child?" tanong naman sa akin nitong propesor namin.

"Where does the "appliqué technique" usually used for?" tanong naman niya sa akin.

"As you said earlier Sir, that the term appliqué comes to a greek word "applicare" means to join. Usually Sir, this technique is used for patching holes or to strengthen areas the are that has been torn or worn. Now, it is widely used for making artful techniques that can be seen in blankets and quilts," sagot ko naman sa kaniya, ano ka ngayon sir, basic.

"Then, can you state some applications of Appliqué?" dagdag niyang tanong, ano ba naman itong si Sir, tanong ng tanong may iniisip pa ako eh.

"In my vast knowledge Sir, I know only two of them," sagot ko naman sa kaniya habang nakatingin sa blackboard.

"Then can you say it in front of the class?" sabi niya naman sa akin.

"The one I know is the decorative one, sometimes you can see this now in ready-made patches or you can make your own, you can apply every single type of stitch options to make your own design, all you need is patience and hard-work" sagot ko naman sa kaniya.

"And the other one is?" tanong niya ulit.

"The other one is the Raw-edge applique, this is the basic style of applique, where you can usually finish for just minutes because it is not complicated and sophisticated," sagot ko ulit sa kaniya.
