"Why, why us?" She cried, dark green strands of unkempt hair falling into her face.
"I'VE ALWAYS BEEN THE BEST I CAN FOR YOU! I DID EVERYTHING YOU ASKED AND MORE!" The mother cried, echoes bouncing in the dark alleyway, as she confronted the father-no, the abuser of her child.
"Oh, what a twist! You actually thought I cared? I did it all for my plans!" revealed the beast of a man, "And turns out it was all in vain- that stupid piece of shit 'son' had to be quirkless."
"It's not his fault! How can you be so heartless, Hisashi!" The man looked back and scoffed at the pitiful mess of a woman.
He had broken her.
He had ruined her once-pure, happy and loving heart, torn it to shreds— but he didn't care.
"HE WAS A USELESS PIECE OF TRASH! A BLEMISH IN THIS WORLD FULL OF QUIRKS!" Hisashi screamed, flames leaping from his throat.
"And anyway, dumping him in the forest was the best thing to do! Izuku won't last a day out there. He'll die and we'll be doing the world a favour. Easy as that!"
"You are a damn monster! I wish I had known before. Izuku doesn't deserve this.." Inko whispered.
"What did you just say? You think you can just talk back to me like that?" yelled Hisashi menacingly, as he advanced towards his wife.
"I thought I loved you, but you? Supporting society's rejects? Ha! You'll never be a wife of mine."
Screams of pain and agony echoed in the alley, red spilling onto the paving, blood seeping into the cracks of the earth.
"What are you doin- N-No, Hisas-" were the woman's words, never finishing her sentence.
And as the burnt body and bruised soul of Inko Midoriya fell to the ground, she whispered to herself. "I'm sorry Izuku.."
Walked away the monster Hisashi Midoriya, publicly known as Number 2 Hero Salamander, thinking to himself only one thing.. Goddamn bitch.
