Within Shadows (Zuko x Reader)

Chapter 5

"We need a team or Rhinos to budge this ship..." Sokka spoke in defeat once you all stopped.

"Uh... Why not water bend?" You suggested awkwardly. "Not to sound rude or anything since neither one of us really thought of that until know." You muttered. Katara and Aang nodded at each other and began to do the same movement to create waves moving back and forth to ease the ship into the water. It finally budged and you all got on and sailed off as quick as you all could. Aang stood at the back of the ship to watch if anyone was following and of course the pirates stole Zuko's ship.

"Sokka! Can't this thing go any faster?" Aang called out turning to said water tribe boy.

"I don't know how! This thing wasn't made by the water tribe!" Sokka called back. The ship made its way next to the one you and the gaang were on and you, Aang and Katara got in fighting positions. Though you didn't really need to do much as Aang nearly knocked out one out of three of them and Katara knocked out the other and all you had to do was sent a blast their way to catch them off guard and rush over to kick them off the side of the ship and into the water.

"Hey! You did the water whip!" Aang praised Katara.

"I couldn't have done it without you!" Katara replied. Those two were totally in love and the mere thought made you smirk.

"Will you two stop congratulating each other and help me?!" Sokka exclaimed causing you to turn and see him tangled up with two pirates. Sokka got tossed to the side and Aang came down and blasted one of them off with his air bending while you kicked the other one to the lower level and sent a blast his way knocking him into the water.

"Guys! Look!" Katara pointed forward and you glanced over to see the ship heading towards a water fall.

"Shit." You cursed. A pirate approached Aang from behind but Aang turned around as the pirate pulled out his knife. Aang looked frightened but pulled out a bison whistle and blowed into it frantically. You were about to go and help him but Sokka kicked the pirate off and into the water.

"Are you insane?! There's no time for flute practice!" Sokka scolded.

"Sokka, that isn't the biggest thing we should be worrying about right now!" You exclaimed as you watched the boat get closer and closer to the water fall.

"Aang we can stop this together! Push and pull the water!" Katara commanded as her and Aang rushed to the front of the boat and began doing a circular motion together, turning the ship to its side and stopping it from going over the side. "We did it! We stopped the boat!"

"Uhh we have another problem!" Sokka called out but before any of you could question it, the ship the pirates stole crashed into the side of the one you were on, sending all of you flying off it. "Hold on!" Sokka yelled as everyone grabbed each other's hands. Surprisingly, they grabbed on to yours too as you all fell down to your impending dooms. But you soon felt yourself crash into something and you sat up to find yourself in a saddle on top of a flying bison.

"What the hell?!" You exclaimed, your chest heaving from the adrenaline that had coursed through you rapidly.

"I knew this bison whistle would come in handy." Aang mused with a smirk. "Thanks Appa."

"Yeah. We owe you one." Sokka said as that lemur landed on his shoulder. The bison just grunted out.

"Gosh I feel like I was about to have a heart attack..." You huffed out as you leaned your head back and clutched your chest as you continued to pant out. The others chuckled.
