-Short Story-
Long ago in a far away land there was once a bounty and blissful kingdom. They were ruled by their strong and great king with his queen who was known for her elegance and her serene demeanor.
The King's Queen would always stay by his side, support him throughout his rulings to his kingdom. The people of their kingdom respect and trust their King and Queen. But little did they know that the Queen has been hiding a massive secret that will change the faith of the kingdom.
The Queen got sick every night after the solemn ceremonies of commemoration of their becoming as husband and Wife, the distraught King emerge to his own room and prays that his Queen be healed and let her stay by his side. By the next morning the Queen get up from her bed and look for his King. She weep onto the Kings embrace and keep mumbling the words "Forgive me". The confused king faced his Queen and asked why does her Queen seeks for forgiveness knowing he should be the one who asked for it for he felt that he forgotten his duty to his own Queen.
The Queen keeps weeping and said to her King "My King, My Lord, you are my treasure, you are my life. But I will request something that you might find... unacceptable. I have been hiding a secret that no one should know. I was young when I got lost in the forbidden forest, there I met an Old Lady, she seeks for help, but I was afraid and leave her in a distressful state. But on the second day, the old lady and I met again. She came to me and said I will be married to a King and I will help him to raise his Kingdom but on the 20th year of our marriage... I will turn into a monster and be the reason to a fallen kingdom."
Shocked by his Queens confession, the King turned into silence. But the Queen is not yet done for she will request a great deal from his King.
"My King, My Lord, you are my love, my other half and my joy... but the faith is not ours to play. The request that I'll ask will be sinful, but please hear me out while I tell my wary to you My king. You my King, will take my life and end my miserable destiny."
The King loves his Queen so dearly that he can't accept to let her leave him by his side. She is his pride, his soul and his life, by her, asking him to let him take her life , is like a torn that compress his heart and a ghost that sucks his breath away.
Without thinking twice, he hides his Queen, his wife and the confession that she has made. He choose his love and ignore the Queens request.
The season changed, the children grew and became the great vessel of the kingdom while their King still hides to his Castle. Some say the Queen is dead, that made their King depressed. Some say their king becomes weak that he can't move his body anymore.
But little did they know that the King hides his deepest secret, for his Queen is still alive and so her destiny is.
And on the 20th year of their wedding anniversary, a great thunder came and gave the people's discomfort, then a big tidal wave wipe out the outer kingdom, and by night, the crust of earth shook the very land of the kingdom.
The cries of the people envelope the kingdom's place.
The King was so immersed on keeping his people's welfare that he forgot his Queens destiny.
After the fearsome night, the calmness came and a long silence becomes the comfort of the people. But not of their knowing, an enormous dragon came out through the chambers of the castle.
The dragon gave a tour in the sky while the people of the kingdom was just eyeing the creature above them.
Without any hesitation the King runs to the dragon and shouts " My Queen, my love, I beg you... to not perish our people's welfare." Everyone in the kingdom was perplexed by what their Kings announcement. The King kneel down and pray "My God, my savior, I am your humble servant, please hear my prayer, help my wife find her true heart and give her back to me as my Queen."
But the prayer seems unheard for the dragon surrounds the kingdom and burnt everyone with a roar.
