Micah treaded back and forth on the sidewalk, his dreads swishing side to side. His best
friend, Wilson, noticed he was stressed. "What's up, dog," Wilson asked."Haven't you noticed all the things that are going missing," Micah said concerned. "Psh. Like what," Wilson said. "Everything man! Look around. It's gotten so bad that teachers have been hanging up 'will tutor for pens' posters!"
"Hmm," he said. "I'm seeing it now."
"What should we do," asked Micah. "This is a big one. I'm talking paranormal beyond our feeble human minds! The likes of which the world has never-" he said as Wilson covered his mouth. "You were spiraling," he said as he lowered his hand. "But you're right. We may have to get the squad together." They nodded and dashed in separate directions. They met up in the same spot with their friends Deshawn, Valorie, and Kellie.
"What do you want," asked Deshawn. " I was playing basketball." Micah then addressed all the things that went missing. "I've snuck into the camera room and saw nothing. They just seem to ...vanish." He took out his phone and showed them the camera footage. Everyone except Valorie watched shocked. "This is merely coincidental," she said. "You may have cut the footage or the cameras may have gone down."
"I don't know," said Kellie. "It seemed kinda weird to me." Just then they heard someone say, " Of course you'd believe it." It was Allya the prettiest girl in the school. And the worlds biggest bitch. " What do you want Allya," Micah said growing more pissed every second. "Nothing that you have," she said snarkily. "That is if you have anything," she laughed. "You know Kellie," said Allya. "I kinda miss having you around."
"Really," she said, her eyes nearly glowing. "Yeah, you were a great doormat," she said as she walked away. "Forget her," Micah said, attempting to comfort his friend. "Bitch..." Micah said, upset. "Anyways," Micah said, "I was thinking we should meet back here when the camera cut to see what happened!"
"I'm in," said Kellie. "I'm down," said Wilson "It makes sense to me," Deshawn added. The group then looked to Valorie. "Fine. But only to identify your bodies when you idiots die. I mean seriously, this is fucking stupid! We are going out at night only to fin-" Micah interrupted," So it's agreed! We meet here at 9:00." They all agreed and went their separate ways. Little did they know, Allya was listening in. "So," she said, "The weirdos are having a little sleepover. We'll see about that"
