I don’t need to know what’s inside your fridge, or your closet. I don’t care about the colors of your curtains, bed sheets, etc. Writing about the current weather and how the character feels or how he/she is doing about it can already suffice.
There are instances when I realize that I just read a paragraph emphasizing, let's say the contents of a character's bag or any other irrelevant details, irks me to a certain degree.
"SHOW AND TELL" is absolutely recommended, but do not overdo it. Kasi nga,
