The manor was quiet. Peace and comfort on such a wonderful sunny day. Clouds rolled by gradually as birds flew through the sky singing their songs. The wind blew quiet and gentle, grazing the grass and leaves on trees ever so gently disrupting them. Through the halls, soft humming could be heard. A gentle lullaby familiar to the young girl who so graciously swept away at the floors. A sweet smile planted on her lips, (H/L) (H/C) hair flowing back and forth with her body as she moved. She seemed to dance along the floor as she worked, not minding anyone who looked her way. She knew someone was watching her no matter where she was in the manor. Between 4 other servants, and a master, the house was shared, though each servant had their own chores. The only one she really came into contact with was Mey-Rin. She could vividly remember her maroon ponytails and circular glasses. How sweet she was, yet clumsy. She could recall the recent events that brought her to her current task. She felt bad truly. Watching her misstep over her own foot down the stairs spilling cleaning supplies all over the floor. Yet (Y/N) made quick work to clean the mess.

Yet even with Mey-Rins occasional appearances, there was another person who frequently kept eye over her and the others. That ever so gorgeous man who hid just out of sight from her eyes. Black hair, milky pale skin, crimson red eyes. Sebastian. She'd always loved when he was present, and his disappearances made her sad deep down. Yet she knew her boundaries. It was inappropriate for a butler and a maid to develop any relationship of the sorts. Nevertheless, she'd grown fond of the male. She respected everything he did, and looked up to him. Part of her felt she owed him a certain debt. The very thought of that day rocked her from the inside sending waves of despair through her body.

The blackened room illuminated by fire catching on fabrics and furniture. Bodies laying in pools of crimson liquid, the smell of burning human skin filling the air. She sat there on her knees, hands by her side. She stared at him in awe as he offered her his hand. Slender, and long fingers covered by a white glove. She stared at him dumbfounded momentarily.

"Perhaps there is a better place for you outside of her. Wouldn't you say so?"

His voice played in her head like a broken record. She took hold of his hand, but she flinched. The touch of freedom and life. No longer was she bound to a world of pain and misery. Suffering and oppression. She watched as the flames engulfed the property burning everything within. But on that day she was given a grim reminder. As the flames rose higher and higher the manor began to burn down to the ground. As debris fell to the earth, souls rose to the sky. Screaming in torment begging for mercy, she recalled certain phrases they screamed. Eternal pain lost forever in an endless purgatory. Souls of those whose lives were lost. Lives lost to her own hands. It was agony. Hearing those damned forever wail out begging, pleading, crying out for help.

Crouched on the floor, she covered her eyes squeezing her eyes as tight as possible. Her nails scraping at the skin behind her ears desperately and pointlessly trying to drown out those voices from her head.

"Miss. (L/N)!" a male called out to her.

She was shaken from her thoughts as she felt her body being shaken. A pair of hands on her shoulders rocking her back and forth trying to pull her from the horrid daydream. She opened her eyes and turned around slowly coming face to face with who called out to her.

"Finny.." she said softly.

"Miss.(L/N), are you alright? You were hallucinating again..."

"Was I..? I'm so terribly sorry Finny you must've been so scared"
