Reader's POV or Third Person POV
"Jay" Zane said as he shakes Jay. "Yeah?," Jay said as rolled over. "Hurry get up it's 6 AM" Zane replied. "6 AM? It's too early" Jay said as rolled back over and pulled the covers back over. "Sensei said we have training" Zane said as he pulled Jay's covers off. "Why so early?," Jay asked as he tried to reach for the covers.
"Hey! I didn't give you the consent to grab me! Zane?!," Jay yelled as Zane lifted Jay off his bed. "Now go get ready" Zane said. "What am I getting ready for?," Jay asked. "To train" Zane replied. "I need more detail. Train where? Train how? What clothes do I wear?!," Jay asked in a panic. "Just wear whatever your comfortable in. However I recommend sweatpants and a short sleeve, training starts in 10 minutes" Zane said as he walked out.
"Only 10 minutes!," Jay screamed and pulled out his bag from under his bed. He began pulling out his clothes and throwing them on his bed. "Sweatpants, where's that shirt at? I didn't think I had so much clothes" Jay said as he was still pulling his clothes out of his bag. "Yes here it is" Jay said as he found his white long sleeve.
"And I need this" Jay said as he grabbed his hair straightener out his bag and went into the bathroom.

Zane's POV
"Zane, where is Jay?," Sensei asked. "I don't know. I can check on him" I answered Sensei's question. "Yes please do so" Sensei replied. "Sorry I'm late, I couldn't remember how to get here" Jay said as he threw open the sliding door. "It's alright, please stand over here" Sensei said as he pointed next to me.
Jay walked very quickly to stand next to me. "For today you two shall spar" Sensei said. "But I don't know how to fight" Jay said. "Well a bird learns to fly by getting thrown off a cliff, you can learn the same way" Sensei said as he went to sit by the door to watch. "Places now" Sensei said as he poured himself a cup of tea. "Jay stand right across from me" I said as I saw how confused Jay was.
"Bow" Sensei said. I bowed and Jay did the same. "Zane please go easy don't hurt him to much" Sensei said to me as I stood upright. "Yes Sensei" I replied. "Now ready, spar!," Sensei yelled. I bend my knees slightly and held up my hands ready to block or attack. Jay held his hands in a fist and held them in front of his face. I grabbed his wrist he tried pulling away. He kicked my legs. He was about to punch me.
I grabbed his other wrist and tripped him as he was standing up straight. Jay fell on his but and looked up at me. "Well done Zane. You realized that your opponent was in no right stance to fight and took advantage" Sensei complimented me. "Thank you Sensei" I replied. "Now for you, Jay your too busy trying to take Zane down with force. Once he grabbed your wrists your focus was getting free. I'd say the only way for you to win is with speed. You could easily dodge the attacks and tire out your opponent then it becomes easier for you" Sensei told Jay.
"Yes Sensei" Jay said as he was about to get up. I held out my hand. He smiled and took it. "Now again!," Sensei yelled. "Yes Sensei!," Jay and I yelled in sync. "Ready, go!," Sensei said. Jay bent his knees and held his hands like mine. After the advice Sensei gave him I would let him hit me first. We circled as we waited for the other to hit first. "People are dying! And you two are trying to decide who should hit first!," Sensei yelled.
I lost focus to listen to Sensei and Jay kicked me. "Sorry" he said as I groaned in pain. I went to punch him, he moved out of the way. I noticed he stood upright again. As he was about to step back I grabbed his wrist and very gently put him to the ground.
"Zane did the same exact thing! Zane no need to be easy on him he isn't learning" Sensei said. Jay got up very quickly. "Again!," Sensei yelled. Jay got in his stance as did I. "Go!," Sensei yelled. Sensei said not to go easy so I went to punch him. He moved out of the way, trying to stay in his stance. I went to kick him he grabbed my ankle and pushed it to the side.
I lost balance but regained it quickly. He went to punch me I grabbed his wrist. He folded his elbows in so I let go. We circled again. He went to punch me again "Counter Zane!," Sensei yelled. I blocked his punch.
Jay's POV
Zane put his arm up so my punch didn't hit him. Goddanmit this is so infuriating. Zane was about to kick me I moved out of the way. I spun so I could turn to him. Zane got behind me and kicked me in the back. "Argh" I said as I fell to the ground. "Your only focusing on one thing. You need to pay attention to all of your surroundings" Sensei said as I got up.
"Why do I have to learn like this?! Can't I just learn with the training machines I saw earlier" I said frustrated. "Zane hasn't had any real practice so it's only fair" Sensei replied. "He would get some real practice if I knew what I was doing!," I yelled. Zane looked visibly shocked I yelled.
"WHY WON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME?!"
It was like time stopped. "I-I didn't mean to yell. I'm sorry" I said in a panic. I began hyperventilating. I was gasping for air. It was like I was in a dream and drowning. Like I couldn't breathe but I wasn't going to die.
"Jay?," I could hear Zane very muffled.
I put my hands to my ears. "I want it to stop" I said in a shaky voice. With tears going down my face.
"What?," Zane said as he was going to touch my shoulder.
"STOP!," I yelled as I put my hands on the ground. My vision blurry from the tears. Zane backed away from me. "Jay we can stop" Zane said as he began moving closer to me. "I-I don't know. I just need some space" I said as I stood up and walked to the sliding door that Sensei wasn't sitting in front of. I opened it and walked in.
Then closed it behind me.
