Your POV

Me, Jake, Charles and Rosa were all sat around the duffle bag. We still had no idea where the diamonds were, all of a sudden we hear the elevator doors open so I look over to see Amy walking out.

"Hey Amy," I say to her "What's up"

"Jake just texted me tell me what happened and I had an idea" she says excitedly

"Go on then" I say to her handing the bag over

"Ok so last week I was watching a TV show and they had a similar situation to this" she began as she pulled out a pen knife "and the victim had opened the seems of the handle and put drugs in there so I thought maybe the victim saw the show and has the same idea" she said as she carefully cut though the seems of the handle

We all sat in anticipation of whether she was right or not, when she was done she tipped the bag and amazingly a bunch of small diamonds poured out

"Oh my God, AMY YOU GENIUS!" I shout 

"Thanks" she smiled

"Guess the victim had your poor taste in TV shows" Rosa insulted, we all laughed as Amy rolled her eyes at her

"What's going on in here" says Captain Holt

"We just closed the Hilltree Murder Case" Jake says proudly

"Well done, you've had been working on that one for a few days Peralta. I'm glad (Y/N) came along to help you" Holt says

I stick my tongue out like a five year old when Holt said that to Jake to which Jake laughed at

"Anyway, I say we go to Shaws for a drink since our shift just ended" Jake suggests

"Sounds great" I say grabbing my bag and coat

Timeskip to Shaws

"Here is your drink" Jake says handing me the drink he promised to buy me

"Thank you" I say taking it and drinking a bit before putting it on the table

"Oh by the way heres my number, if you wouldn't mind sending that to the rest of the squad" I say to Jake handing a piece of paper with my number scribbled on it

"Ok, I'll send it to everyone"

"Thanks" I say "You're a great partner by the way. A lot better than my partner back at the 64" I compliment

"Thanks, you're a very good detective" he says as he hold up his glass signaling for me to cheers it to which I do "To the many more cases we're going to solve together"

"Cheers" we both say before drinking more of our drinks

Ok I've finally finished my first oneshot (more like three shot since it took three chapters to complete)
