Not As It Seems (Rewrite)

Chapter Six

The entire bus ride was silent. Gakupo was too scared to speak, and Kaito couldnt mutter the words he needed to. Unlike Len, Gakupo wasn't the most cuddly person. Normally when he was upset, he would get to cuddle with Len. Now he was just with Gakupo. As the bus drove, they stared at the scenery. Giant trees and a cloudless blue sky.
"Are you okay?" Gakupo said quietly to Kaito.
"Well..." he looked away, then back into Gakupos eyes. "Len broke up with me."
Gakupo felt his body go cold, "What?"
"During the last activity, he left you and broke up with me. That's how you got lost." Kaito wiped away the tears in his eyes.
"I'm so sorry," Gakupo let him rest his head on his shoulder. Before they knew it, they were at their next destination. A theme park, full of rigged games and barely working rides. A perfect place to cheer up Kaito.

First, they went to the rigged games. Knocking over milk jugs was the first they went to, they got nothing. But Kaito seemed to be smiling more. Next, they went to a ballon popping area. When they won nothing again, they moved onto the rides. After a dozen rollercoasters, they went to the ferris wheel. Gakupo and Kaito sat down on one of the benches, and the wheel started turning. Gakupo smiled once they reached the top, almost hoping to have that movie magic scene where they get stuck at the top of the ferris wheel. Of course, it continued to move. Kaito giggled once they stepped off the ride.
"That was so fun!" He danced around like a five year old that ate too many lollipops.
"I'm glad you enjoyed it."
They began loading the busses again, and they sat together in the back. While on the way to the place they would be sleeping that night, Kaito taught him a bunch of random games like chopsticks, concentration, and standoff. To be honest, Kaito was having the most fun on the rides where he was with Gakupo.

They ended up sleeping in the hotel that night, There was a room scattered with roll away beds and blankets for all of them. This was going to be a lot more comfortable than the last nights had been. There was a night activity offered of stargazing on the roof, the only ones signed up were fukase, oliver, kaito, and gakupo. It was peaceful today on the roof staring at the bright shining lights. Gakupo looked over to see Kaito's blue eyes glistening. He looked so happy. He stopped staring at him so he wouldn't get suspicious, and looked back up at the sky. They were going to be fine, everything was going to turn out fine.
