*Zayden's POV*
Entering, the classroom I scanned it with my heightened senses. That was when I smelt it, something that wasn't human, but I didn't recognise the scent. Great I'm going up against something I don't know. I quickly masked my scent. It was too late. I think I'm screwed, nobody is allowed to know what I am. I immediately knew who the scent belonged to, he was sat across the room staring at me and I shot him a look, I had to keep myself under control otherwise my secret would be revealed to the entire class.
I scanned the room for a seat. For f***'s sake! The only spare seat in the room was next to him, Satan help me. I walked over to the chair and slumped down ignoring my new partner.
'You better not mess with me.' I growled quietly, not audible to the human ear.
'Trust me white-eyed freak I'm not going to, whatever you are.' He growled a reply.
That annoyed me. I had to use all of my power to restrain myself. Being a Archangel, Archdemon hybrid made my self control pretty limited, I had so much power making me pretty unstoppable if someone annoyed me. Fortunately, I also display the traits of a vampire since most early vampires were approximately a quarter demons and since I am half archdemon most vampires see me as a high ranking vampire unless the vamp was a royal, then I would be completely screwed as nobody is allowed to know I exist.
The lesson started, and I allowed my thoughts to drift away from the being beside me although I pledged to keep my eye on him for the year as I knew it could cause me some issues if my secret got out.
After being passed between Heaven and Hell for the past hundred years they decided that it would be better for me to cause chaos on earth and since then I haven't caused too many problems, moving from place to place to hide my immortality and escape covens of angry witches (which has happened more times). When I moved to England two years ago, I aimed to stay under the radar, like every location I moved to until I run into an issue (like angry witches).
It wasn't long before the lesson ended and I made my way to the next class.
'Oui! white eyes!' I hear from behind me. It was mysterious entity again, his athletic 6ft4 figure matched me in many ways. He had dark brown hair and relatively tanned skin, compared to my next to white complexion thanks to my genetics, if it wasn't for my eyes I could probably be passed off as the devil, if people knew what he looked like.
I rolled my eyes and send him a message with my mind.
'Leave me the f*** alone.' Forcing it into his mind certainly left a confused look on his face. I then took the opportunity to dive into his thoughts.
'What the hell is he? Maybe he's the famous Wolf-Vamp hybrid? No, that can't be right as I would smell the Wolf a mile off and he smells very vamp like. What the hell is he?'
I left his thoughts very satisfied that he was extremely confused what I was. It was providing me great entertainment. It was lucky I was able to mask my scent with a scent very similar to a Vampire. I headed off to my next lesson with a giant grin on my face.
I walked into the classroom and guess who was there? The freaking mysterious entity again. Why do the stars align like this? I checked the seating plan on the bored and, it was fate. I never really liked Fatima but really? She was definitely giving me a reason to dislike her immensely. I made my way yet again to mystery being. I can't keep calling him this.
'What's your name?' He asked.
Really fate?
'Why?' I retorted crossing my arms.
'I can't hate a person without a name. I'm Axel.' He replied.
'Fine. It's Zayden. I can't say it's nice to meet you because it's not.'
'Well you're pleasant.'
'I'll just put it out there. I'm bitter and complicated, it's one of my charms.'
'I'm pretty sure you don't know what that word means. Or how to count.' He fired back.
He's really beginning to annoy me now. S***, I let my eyes change colour. My eyes flipped to a soulless black. I managed to change them back to the 'normal' white before the humans surrounding us noticed.
Before I was aware of it I was stood up and being dragged to the nearest bathroom. F***.
'WHAT THE IN THE FLYING F*** ARE YOU!?' He yelled whilst pinning me to the tiled bathroom wall. That went from zero to one-hundred real quick. There were long vampire fangs were protruding from his jaws. Well that explains that he was at least half vampire.
I forced him off me with my superhuman strength, causing him to sail through the air and ram head first into the opposite wall. It left a large dent in the wall.
'Not human, but I thought you gathered that already.' I replied calmly as my eyes went back to the soulless black they were a few minutes ago and my fangs also made an appearance.
This just simply riled him up again, causing him to come charging back at me. I simply put my arm out to stop him and let's just say he stopped dead.
'Answer my question!' He growled.
'I did. Just not with the answer you wanted.' I replied with a smirk, he tried to punch my head and I reached up and grabbed his wrist.
'You can try, but I can guarantee that your reaction speed is not on my level.' I said as released my grip from around his wrist, 'If I wanted to fight I would but quite frankly, I don't want to beat up some vampire.'
'I'M NOT JUST 'SOME VAMPIRE'!' He spat. His eyes were now crimson red. Oops.
'Good to know.' I said as I walked passed him.'Oh and I recommend not messing with me.'
I retracted the fangs and changed let my eyes go back to the normal white. Returning to the lesson, everyone stared.
'Welcome back Zayden, can you tell us all where you were?' The teacher questioned.
'I was in the bathroom trying to stop Axel beating the sh*t out of me.' I replied.
'Language Mr Gray!' She screeched. She sounded like a bloody banshee.
I rolled my eyes and returned to my seat, it was a waiting game for Mr 'I'm not just some vampire' Axel to return. I have successfully lived on earth for twenty years to not have anyone question my existence, why now? I think it may be time to go and speak with my father in Heaven and p*ss off the angels in the process since they hated the Half Archdemon had more power over them. Eh I might make it more entertaining and appear as a demon.
Annnndddd he appeared.
'I'm not just some vampire.' I whispered not audible to the human ear. His eyes were practically shooting daggers and I was dying of laughter inside annoying him was my new favourite occupation.
