please don't attack me for my opinion and let's keep things respectful cuz I feel like I'm gonna get some hate.
negatives:
1) she got a movie before nat and wanda who have been through hell and back. the captain marvel movie introduced carol to the MCU, like she was never mentioned before and she just pops out of nowhere so I felt she wasn't necessary. hell, I would've taken a Hawkeye movie before her
2) her personality is kind of boring . . . I feel like marvel made her the ultimate feminist and they thought that meant giving her a bland personality, something we've seen before. like they made her basic. and tbh, I'm really not a fan of Brie Larson and her acting. like she's a really nice and awesome person but all her characters are the same.
3) she had like no character development or arcs. like her bland personality and ambitions remained the same throughout her existence. wanda , peter parker , loki even tony stark had better character developments
positives:
by no means am I complaining about a having a female heroine. I think there needs to be more and I'm at least glad the MCU gave young girls another role model to look up to and I think captain marvel is powerful . . . I just think she and her story could've been better developed to be included in the MCU.
