"B, I think mago-overtime Prof namin sa last subject like what he announced. Kung wala ka ng klase, don't wait for me, mag-commute na lang ako."

Sabay kaming naglalakad papuntang HRM building, ihahatid ko muna siya bago ako pumasok sa klase.

"May klase ako sa hapon so mahihintay kita."

Bago siya pumasok ng room ay pinisil ko muna siya sa pisngi. 'Yon lang ang wholesome na pwede kong gawin na walang malisya.

I can't help but wonder, when can I show my affection in public?

When can I hold Haley like a normal lovers do?

As I stare at her face, I realize I don't need answers. All I need is her love and I have it. That's enough.

"Sabay tayong mag-luch, Mahal, ah?"

Tumingin muna siya sa paligid bago sumagot ng mahina.

"Okay, Mahal."

Ngiting-ngiti naman akong naglakad pupunta sa building namin.

Is this the feeling of being in love? There's the feeling of being in cloud nine, butterflies in the stomach, blushing cheeks, heart shaped eyes and wide smiles that would make you look like an idiot. If yes, I accept it all with open arms.

Can't believe I'm willing to be an idiot, though.

Nang makarating ng faculty office ay sumilip muna ako sa glass door kung andoon ba si ma'am. Students are not allowed to enter the office for privacy purposes. But if you're permitted by one of the Professors, you can. Saktong may kakilala akong palabas galing sa loob.

"Jodi, nand'yan ba si Ma'am Amelia?"

"Bea! Nasa Dean's Office pa daw, may ipapass rin ako, sabay na tayo maghintay," aniya at pinapasok ako para makaupo sa couch.

"I heard you're representing our college in Mr. & Miss University,"

Abala ako sa pagtingin ng paligid kaya hindi ko gaanong naintindihan yung sinabi niya.

Mr. & Miss ano?

"Ano ulit, Jodi?" Baling ko sa kaniya.

Siniko naman niya ako, "Actually, lima kayong pinagpilian and you're the lucky one. Gab is not happy with the result, though."

What. The. Fuck.

Nanlaki ang mata ko sa gulat. Me?!

Napangisi pa siya, "Ever since the rumor about you and Chad dating, that girl has always been insecure of you."

Hindi pa maproseso ng utak ang sinasabi niya. I faced her with furrowed brows.

"Wait, who's Gab?" nalilito ko'ng tanong, "Saka, ako? Bakit ako?" sabay turo ko sa sarili.

"Gabrielle Wong, you don't know her? That girl is so obsessed with the Captain and self-proclaimed Queen Bee of all time... In short, she's a brat." She sarcastically said while rolling her eyes.

Natawa naman ako. Natigil lang kami sa pag-uusap ng dumating na si Ma'am Amelia. But what Jodi said before she left lingers on my mind.

"Be careful, one's insecurity can ruin another."

I don't personally know Gab but I think I've heard of her, we have the same course.

I stopped thinking about that when I'm left alone in front of my Prof.

"Maybe you already heard about it. We chose you to represent our college in the upcoming intramurals. I just talked to the dean about this."

So it's serious, Jodi isn't bluffing. I commend her sharp ears for that but I'm not happy with this.
