Rajavel was not thinking about how to track the Maruti 800. His thoughts were totally about SI Rony Varghese. Rony Abraham Varghese, from Malappuram district, Kerala. He is an intelligent man from a family that is known for producing quality police officers. The Varghese family had almost given every drop of their sweat and blood to the State of Kerala, maintaining the law and order in the god's own country.
Rony was ambitious. He wanted to serve the people, not just the people of Kerala, but to almost all those in India. For this ambition to become a reality, Varghese aimed for the Indian Police Service.
Cut to 4 years before, Varghese, Rajavel and Vishwa had joined the Civil service examination coaching center in Chennai. Vishwanath Ravichandran, the silent student of the class, but one of the brightest in the batch. No question would be left unanswered or unsolved by him. Almost all the students were envious of Vishwa. And Varghese was not an exception. His jealousy slowly had turned into an unwanted rift between Varghese and Vishwa. Every single time Varghese got into a fight or argument with Vishwa, Rajavel was the one who constantly intervened and stopped their feud.
This catalystic behaviour of Rajavel made him get closer with Varghese, but Vishwa never paid any heed to anyone in his class. His past was like that. He practiced himself to stay alone.
Many perceived his attitude to that of an arrogant and egoistic individual. He cleared the civil services and from there he was with the department day and night, without an iota of sleep.
Rajavel and Varghese attempted the Tamilnadu SI Examination and got posted in different jurisdiction of Chennai City. But silently, both of them were watching Vishwa's growth in the department. They waited for an opportunity to prove Vishwa, that not always he is intelligent and shrewd. Rajavel used the case as that opportunity and Varghese wanted to join Rajavel.
But never Rajavel had the thought of investigating the case without the heed of Vishwa. He is a dedicated subordinate no doubt.
Vishwa had forgotten the catalystic Rajavel, but never the feudalistic malayali Rony Abraham Varghese

Rajavel reached Vishwa's place and was so anxious to tell the story he had just unearthed after the investigation from the coffee shop.
Rajavel entered the verandah and he saw Vishwa lying down, with a gasping breath. Rajavel ran towards him, lifted him up , made him seated and gave loads of water to drink. He called the Doctor and the Doctor in the phone advised Rajavel to give a few immediate reaction first aid. Vishwa slowly regained his senses, but he was still panting like an asthmatic patient.
Meanwhile, the Doctor had come over and gave him a shot of sleeping dose. Slowly vishwa went into deep sleep, like a trance. Rajavel was looking at Dr.Sethuraman to know more details.
Dr.Sethuraman took a deep breath and said 'He just had a Panic Attack'
