Prologue

Periodicals, Fencing Rehearsals, overdue Medical Mission project and the potential leadership of Delta Kappa Phi next year.

"You are just 20, Orion. What a sad fckinghood it would be if you never came." Dagdag pa nito, sinusubukan siyang insultuhin. But Orion de Salcedo is a confident young man. No one can insult him especially his performance in bed.

"You came, so many times. Should it concern me that you are not enough to sustain my lust?" May nakakalokong ngiti ang binata.

Bumahid ang mas matinding inis sa babae. Hinawakan nito ang dibdib at minasahe ito sa harap ni Orion.

"Isn't this enough for you? Hmmm.." Umungol pa ang babae ng maraming beses.

Hinila ni Orion ang t-shirt niya mula sa kama. "No, I am sorry."

Malakas na napabuntong-hininga ang babae.

"I really feel sorry for Tanya!"

Natigilan si Orion sa pagbanggit ng pangalan ng babae.

"Hindi na nga nilalabasan ang boyfriend niya, kung kani-kanino pa nakikipag-sex!"

Malakas na hinila ni Orion sa braso ang babae.

"Don't speak as if you know something." Mapanganib na bulong niya sa babae na halatang natakot sa kanyang sinabi.

Tanya. His childhood sweetheart. Bago pa man sila ipanganak ay ipinagkasundo na sila ng kanilang mga magulang na ipakasal. Wala namang tutol doon si Orion. The only thing that he's certain about his life is his future. Hindi ang bukas, o ang sa isang linggo. Ang napakalayong future ang tiyak niya.

Whatever he's doing now, he for sure will end up into one goal. He will be Tanya's husband and an oil magnate.

"Do not speak ill about a Demolay, woman. You don't know anything about our world. You know nothing how our thing works!"

Pilit na binawi ng babae ang kanyang braso.

"Ha, you are so full of yourselves! Hindi lang kayo sexist, racist pa kayo. Delta Kappa Phi? Isn't it just another fraternity? You really think you run the whole country?" Natawa ang babae. Hindi man lang napangiti si Orion. Tinadaan ang bawat kurba ng mukha ng babaeng kausap.

"Don't we?" Tumaas ang kilay ni Orion. Mabagal siyang naglakad papalapit sa bag ng babaeng kausap at kinuha ang ID nito. Imbes na ang pangalan sa harapan ang kanyang tingnan, sinilip niya ang emergency contact nito.

"Arvin Kaw. Your Dad?"

Humalukipkip ang babae, "Yes, why?"

Kinuha ni Orion ang kanyang cellphone. "Run an investigation on this Arvin Kaw. I want you to take out two potential business deal if there's any."

"W-what? C-can you really do that?"

"Don't you really think Delta Kappa Phi run the whole country, sweetheart? Think again."

"P-please, please, Orion."

"You know your way out.."

"I—I am sorry."

"You don't insult a member inside his Frat house. This is a privelege you should be thankful of."

"Y-yeah, please.. We are tight the past years, hindi maganda ang negosyo-"

"Out!" Mas malakas na sigaw ni Orion.

Nanlulumong pinulot ng babae ang kanyang mga gamit.

Umupo si Orion sa kama at nagpahinga. His cellphone rang. It was a call from Tanya.

"How was Fiona?"

"Fiona ba ang pangalan 'non? How did you know? Are you starting to investigate on me now?"

"You know that I am not insecure, Orion. Isa lang ang kundisyon ko before we get married. Get yourself tested. Ayokong mahawa ng sakit."

Natawa si Orion. "How can you not be jealous?"

"Isn't that what you want?"

"Kaya sa'yo ako, eh." He smirked.

"O sige na. I have an exam tomorrow. See you when I see you."

"Yeah. Night."

There was a long silence.

"Orion.."

"Yeah?"

"If this makes sense, don't get anyone pregnant."

Napahalakhak si Orion.

"Are you saying that to make me feel better? You know I don't come to anyone."

"I am just saying."

"I won't, Tanya. Goodnight."

"Goodnight.."
