Regrets and Rude Boys!

Start from the beginning

'NO!' All nine shouted out simultaneously again; Erica jerked back shocked at the unexpected response,

'We want the picture! But you must NOT forward it to us on this burner phone, it's not safe and the last thing we want is mafia after Sang and those babies!' Luke had made a mistake. Owen gave him a filthy look,

'Mafia!' Uncle, Erica and Jessica had shouted in horror,

'Don't say any more! I'm sorry,' Owen bit out, furious with Luke,

'We can't talk about the assignment and Luke shouldn't have said that. We are as safe as we can be though and the Academy has already promised back up from Makinen's MC if we need it, so try not to worry,' Owen did his best to reassure them without giving anymore away,

'Uncle, I'll walk you through the protocols to send photos quickly and then I'm sorry but we're going to have to go,' Vic apologised before he explained the process. Owen and North quietly agreed the practical requirements to set up the next date to communicate with their families back home and decided the comms safe words,

'The next safe words are glass and birthday. We'll call again on 25 March, same time 9am South Carolina time. We love you all and Merry Christmas,' North finished the call and hung up,

'God DAMMIT!' Screamed Sean in full rage mode.

'Do you absolute ASSHOLES have any idea how dangerous a pregnancy like that is for a mother as small as Sang is? She could have DIED! The babies could have DIED! How do you think she'd have coped with all that on her shoulders?' He roared at Owen and North specifically. Kota was standing stock still, between Sean and Gabe, tears streaming down his face as he began to comprehend Sean's heart stopping concern as the doctor for their team. Something inside him snapped,

'This should never have even been possible. We should have told her the TRUTH!' North tried to placate Kota with disastrous results,

'Hey K, we just wanted to keep our little bird safe...' Kota recoiled from North as if he had just said he was a professional contract killer,

'Safe? Did you fucking say keep her safe?' The other four on the receiving end of Kota, Sean, Gabe and Victor's fury took a big step back, having never before seen Kota on the verge of completely losing his shit,

'Does it seem like we left her safe? Did we leave her an explanation or a safety net of any fucking kind? You talk a lot about protecting Sang but all you actually did was discover a threat to her and run away, leaving her completely defenceless outside of her own capabilities... you didn't do any of this for her, you did it for yourselves because you were scared and had lost control of the situation! You are all just hypocrites!' Kota had stalked his way aggressively toward North until they were toe to toe and he was literally spitting his words in his teammate's face in short staccato breaths,

'That's right,' Kota whispered at North before raising his voice to shout the last two words,

'The lot of you are FUCKING HYPOCRITES!' Kota shoved North back with every bit of strength and leverage he had in his body. North stumbled back clumsily and would have fallen had Silas not steadied him. Both Kota and North were breathing harshly while the rest of the team stood, arrested to see how North would react, expecting carnage. Kota stared his brother in the eye without a hint of remorse or anxiety, North stared back for an emotion charged minute before astonishing everyone and breaking into a rough sob, his eyes filling with self recrimination and pain,

'You're right. Fuck you. You're right,' North rasped out before he swung around and strode rapidly away from them all. Silently they all did the same, leaving in eight separate directions for their rooms.
