"Kai... Kai." 

"Shut up. I want to sleep."

"Your so grumpy when you're tired."

"Shut up."

"Kai-"

"Eli, please! I just want to sleep right here in your arms! Is that too much to ask for? I mean, I haven't slept well in days, and- and then I get a phone call saying I'm fired from the cafe because I'm too fucking clumsy! That's not all, no. My father thought it would be such a good fucking idea to show up at my apartment after four years of disappearing on me. Do you know what he called me? I fucking fagot. That I'm such a god damn disappointment." 

"Kai... Sweetheart, why didn't you tell me this sooner? I'm so sorry."

"I-I just want to sleep right now."

"Okay, okay, you can go to sleep. I'm not going anywhere. Now dry your tears, Kai. It's gonna be alright.  When you wake up, I'm gonna take you out. How does a nice dinner sound?  Just you and I."

"Yeah... dinner sounds nice. T-thank you, Eli. I'm sorry for not-"

"It's alright. I wouldn't even know how to tell you something like that. I don't blame you. I'm just glad you got it off your chest. Now go to sleep now."

"You'll hold me the whole time?"

"Yes."

"And your not disappointed in me?"

"No, Kai, I'm not."

"And, and you'll give me a kiss before I fall asleep?"

"Yes, Sweetheart, I will."
