we need more mexican history in schools, especially since the government deported a shit ton of people, asked them to come back so they could work, and then re-deported them in the 1940s-50s
more than half of the people originally deported were citizens but since they had brownskin they get deported :/

fun fact: due to the shittiness of immigration court, more than 20,000 united states CITIZENS have been deported since 2003
