A trip back Home

Chapter 1

Luffia POV

Well, it's been a year since I became the Pirate Queen. I've fulfilled my dream... just wish Ace was here to see it.

I feel myself smile sadly at the thought  of my late brother.

I quickly shake off any sad thoughts and bring my focus back to my current task.

I'm sailing back to the East blue with the rest of my crew. We're heading back to my home on Dawn Island, to the place I grew up in, Foosha Village.

I'm going to fulfill my promise to Shanks and give his straw hat back to him. I'm also going to meet up with Sabo when I get there, since the last time we spoke via transponder snail, he said he wanted me to meet my father, the leader of the Revolutionary Army, Dragon.

As I was imagining the way I was going to meet my dad, my stomach started grumbling, causing me to pull a face.

"Mmm... SANJIIII~~~ I'm hungryyy!", I said, well, more like yelled, and the cook of the crew came torpedo dancing unto the deck of the Thousand Sunny. Sanji's eyes turned into hearts the moment he replied, "Don't fret my dear Captain~I'll make something delicious, just for you~!".

I smile and thank him as he heads back into the kitchen to prepare a meal.

I sigh and remove myself from my special Captain's seat and head over to Nami's stand of tangerine trees, where the navigator is currently busy picking the fruit. I look up at her as she turns to me, "Hey Nami? How long until we reach Dawn Island?". She sighs and hands me the already full basket of tangerines next to her as she answers, "It'll be about another five hours until we even see the island, so just be a little patient, Luffy.".

I groan and place the basket to the side and head off in search of my first mate.

I go to his usual napping spot next to the railing of the Sunny's figurehead, only to find him missing. I frown at the lack of Zoro's presence and head up to the crow's nest/Zoro's personal gym.

That's where I find him; shirtless and lifting a one ton weight with one arm and his back to me.

I blush at the sight of Zoro's well toned back. I blush even harder when I catch myself staring at him.

I force away the heat from my face and walk over to him as he notices my presence, "What is it Luffy?", he asks as he puts down his weight and swipes his forehead.

My eyes unconsciously follow the movement of his arms, and I gulp as I see the muscles flex with each movement. I quickly snap out of my mini-trans before Zoro notices me staring.

Instead of answering him right away, I jump at him and wrap my arms around him multiple times; "I'm boooreeeed, Zoroooo~!", I whine as he tries getting out of my grasp.

Zoro grumbles as he is unable to get me off of him. "And what exactly do you want me to do about it Luffy?". I smile and unwrap myself from him as I jump up and down in one spot. "Let's play a game! How about Hide & Seek?! Please Zorooo~~?!", I ask before he has a chance to say no.

Zoro sighs in defeat and nods as I cheer and head back down to the deck, Zoro in tow.

As we reach the deck, Chopper and Ussop meet us. Chopper smiles and jumps into my arms," Hey Luffy! Watcha up to? ", he asks, as Ussop steps closer, also wanting to know.

I smile as I reply, "Gonna play some Hide & Seek with Zoro. Wanna join?". Both the sniper and the docter excitedly agree.

After running around, chasing each other for almost two hours straight, Sanji finally calls us into the kitchen for lunch.

I squeeled at the mention of food and charged into the kitchen, my crew following me in as I sat at the table.
