"I don't know, then, Di. You keep it, else " I shrug, "By the way, why do I get 75% and you mere 25%?" I asked, narrowing my eyes.

"Because you are the owner!" She stated in a tone as if it were obvious.

"What?" I asked bewildered, "When did this happen?"

"The last I checked, two months ago, you were the owner, " she stated in a duh tone.

"And the last I checked, two months ago, you signed the papers, " I defended.

"Yeah...that doesn't mean I become the ow-"

"That certainly means you're the owner, okay? I don't know why you keep thinking it's my company more than yours. "

"Because it's yours, Ayesha," she said earnestly.

"For heaven's sake, Di, " I rolled my eyes,

"All right here's a deal; " she said after a long moment, "I'll take 30% and you take 70%. " she offered as if it were the world's best idea.

"I do not agree till its a vice-versa. " I stated, taking a sip of my now cold coffee. Ouch, it tastes so bad.

"You can't do this, " she said in a scared voice,

"I can, and I will do this. "

"60-40," she pleaded,

"No, 25-75,"

"50-50,"

"10-90,"

"Fine, 30-70, " she growled, and I gave a triumphant smile. "That's better, " I offered as she picked the two cups of coffee and headed to the washbasin. Washing the containers with more water than required, she grabbed the cheque and stormed to her room.

I grinned, staring after her in a fascinated manner.

"Holla!" Akanksha chirped her usual greeting, and I smiled brightly, repeating the greeting. She instantly stopped in her track and covered her mouth,

"All okay?" I asked, nervously,

"You smiled!" She gasped, touching her heart dramatically,

"Yeah...So?" I asked, embarrassed.

"The last I checked, you were acting as though you were forced to attend funerals for two weeks continuously." She said dramatically exaggerating every word, farcically

"That's an overstatement!" I defended, "I was nothing of that sort. I was quite... normal, " I added, defending myself.

"Well, if you say that's normal, I am going to say, the sun is going to set in the east today, " she said wryly, sarcasm dripping from her mouth, as thick as her red lipstick, "That's quite normal isn't it?" She effortlessly asked me.

I shut my mouth.

"No, Sahil, " I said in an exasperated manner. As I say his name, few heads perk up in curiosity, and I give a hasty smile to all of them, before dropping my voice, "I cannot come home. Kavi Di will become suspicious. She doesn't know I stay in your home, "
