"Hey, Kyle honey can you please grab me some paracetamol" I called my boyfriend na nasa kusina nagluluto ng breakfast.
"Masakit nanaman ba ulo mo hon?
"Maybe I just need better glasses." This terrible migraine has been going on for weeks now.
"Or maybe you need a new job" there he goes again commenting about my job. I am a 25 year -old call center agent and I live in Manila where the cost of living is quite pricey.
"You can live with me, para naman ma lessen yung expenses mo."
My single-mom raised me all on her own. Walang relatives, walang ama. It was just the two of us and everything was fine until she was diagnosed with cancer. So instead of using my college funds for school ay ginamit namin yun para sa pagpapagaling sa kanya, Binenta namin lahat ng napundar ni mama, at nag trabaho ako bilang call center agent.
It has only been a year since my mother's passing, nabaon na ako sa utang, so most of my salaries went to bills and loans.
Thank God I have Kyle. I could still remember how we met through a customer service phone call as if it happened yesterday.
(Flashback)
"Hello, Imagery Electronics, how may I help you" me answering my 3rd call in my 3am shift.
"Hey, just wanted to tell you guys that the computer mouse I ordered yesterday doesn't work."
Hiningi ko lahat ng information niya in relation to the product, tracking number ng order and whatnot.
Finally, nakita namin ang deperensya. "Umm..
"Oh damn it!" The guy exclaimed habang tumatawa sa kahihiyan. "I'm sorry I am not really an expert when it comes to this kind of stuff." He continues while still laughing.
"No problem sir. Is there anything else I can help you with" pinigil ko talaga ang pag tawa.
"Yes yes there is definitely something you can help me with." Ughhhh his voice is eargasm parang artista mala brad pit ang boses with american accent.
"And what would that be." I answered in a flirtatious manner.
"Can I see you later at Sweet Life Café, around 9am perhaps." OHMYGASHHHH.
"That wouldn't be possible sir." Hard to get si gaga.
"Anong oras ba matatapos shift mo?" He insists.
Tinignan ko an gi aking wirst watch, it's almost 5pm na pala just an hour away para matapos na shift ko.
"About an hour." I answered flatly. Ganda ka girl?
"Okay I'll see you there." Then he dropped the phone.
