CHAPTER 6

(Jana's POV)

Lunch.

I wonder.

Why is this cafeteria sooooo quiet?

"Hey Jana!" Saffi shouted from my back.

"What's going on?" I asked.

"Daryl vs. Caleb at the Stadium. Come on!" She explained shortly.

Daryl and Caleb?

Daryl is not a badass. Why are they fighting?

I quickly went to the stadium to see what is really going on.

There were so many students. Circling the two but I can still hear Daryl, screaming.

"I DON'T NEED A DAD! TELL HIM!" Daryl shouted to Caleb.

"STUPID! WE ARE NOT PUSHING YOU AWAY IN THE FAMILY. THE PROBLEM IS NOT US, IT'S YOU!" Caleb shouted back.

Daryl looked down, holding his fist.

I can feel the tense between them. Nobody knows the truth.

All I know is that Daryl is not fine with his Dad.

Other than that, I know nothing.

"He chose you, that's enough for me to leave." Daryl said in a low voice.

He picked his bag and walk away.

I want to go after him and comfort him but I guess he needs some time to be alone.

"Are you okay?" Phyllis asked as she approached Caleb.

I'd better go back to the cafeteria and eat my lunch.

I am now in my room, holding my phone.

This day is a rough day. After what happened between Daryl and Caleb, I haven't seen Daryl anywhere in the campus.

Should I call Daryl?

"Hey Lady. You look worried" he said as he sat beside me.

"You were there right?" I asked.

"Ahh. Daryl and Caleb. Yeah." He replied.
