A heart that has been hurt
A soul that has been tormented
What’s left?
The feeling of being abandoned
The feeling of being used
The feeling of being ill-treated
What’s left?
I wanted to hate you
As much as my heart could
So you feel the pain I feel
You said I was part of your life
You said you would be there for me
You said you loved me
You said you wanted to be always
What’s left?
Just sweet nothing words
Promises flying into the thin air
