I've always loved nature, there's just something about it that's so beautiful and calming. I sit atop a hill and think about what I want to do in the future. I'll be graduating soon, but yet I have nothing planned. But what's stressing going to do now anyways.

The sun had started to set. I knew I should've gotten up and walked home but my body didn't want to move, I started feeling more drowsy and decided to rest my eyes for a minute.

"Asmodeus, ugh wake up!" A voice groaned

I woke to unexpected weight on me and my face being repeatedly poked. Only one fool would dare to wake me up.

I open my eyes to glare at the boy straddling me. I pushed his hand away.

"Ace I'm up, now get off me!" I growled

He rolled his eyes as he stood and proceeded to help me up. We embarked on the long trek home

"Deus, what are you even doing out here? We have a huge test tomorrow." He said giving me a knowing look

I knew he was right and that I should've been studying but I just couldn't concentrate at all. The sight of math makes me gag. Who even decides to add letters into it?

"Let me guess, hard time studying again?" he inquired

"Wow you know me so well" I teased as I shoved him

I didn't think I pushed him that hard until he lost his balance and tripped. I couldn't control the laughs that escaped my body as I saw him sprawled out on the ground. I probably sounded like a madman if anyone heard me.

"A-Ace are you okay" I managed to say between breaths. I covered my mouth to control the cackles that kept coming out. I might sound like an asshole but I knew he was fine. He whined as he slowly got up. He then smirked at me, his grey eyes glinting in the moonlight with mischief.

"We'll see what's so funny" he said

Before I knew it he playfully tackled me.

"Ace" I laughed "get off"

"Not until you cry uncle" he teased

I shifted my weight so I was on top of him

"Well who's crying uncle now" I boasted

He grinned and poked my side. I fell to his side laughing while holding my side

"You Ass that hurt" I yelled at him

"Then why are you laughing?" He retorted

"Cause it tickled too" I said between laugh

"Yeah yeah" he said laughing at me and getting up

I gave him the finger and watched as he and stuck his tongue out at me in return before walking off. I wasn't about to let him win I ran up and tackled him from the back. We continued to goof off for who god knows how long

We both layed in the grass completely out of breath from previously running around, tackling each others and just being dumbasses in general. We stared at the stars in comfortable silence.

"Hey Deus"

"What?" I said and turned my head in his directon

"We should go home before your mom starts to worry" he advised

"you're right." I agreed.

I stood up ready to actually walk home this time as Ace did the same.

I can't believe I forgot my mom said to be home by 10. what was I thinking even coming out here in a school night

When we finally reached my neighborhood it was long past 10. We walked up my porch steps. Ace flopped back in the old swinging bench while I knocked on the door and waited for my mom to answer the door.

A//N : Hii I'm not expecting anyone to actual read this but if anyone does I hope you enjoyed it, vote if you did uwu. I started a few stories but never finished cause of lack of motivation or no actual plot but with this i have a good idea for this one so hopefully it won't be as cringey as my others.
Also happy birthday to me😌🥳
