.:. Thank you all who commented on the first chapter!  It actually kind of gave me the will power to continue this story somewhat!  I don't think this chapter is very good, but there is a crucial part in this that you probably won't get until later on in the story!  Enjoy! .:.

Chapter 2

"Lucy!" cried my mother as she rushed over to me.  I tried to sit down but that stupid guy pushed me back down.

"So you're name is Lucy?" he asked and I couldn't help but scowl at him.

"Yes, yes it is, would you mind telling me yours?" I asked while turning my scowl into a brilliant smile.

"Thomas," he said while reaching out his hand for me to shake which was hard to do since he was still on top of me.

"Please to meet you, now would you mind getting off of me?" I asked.  A little blush entered his pale cheeks.  He was very pale, he even had a bruise like bags under his charming blue eyes.  He got up from me and I went to stand up, momentarily forgetting about my bad ankle.

"Oh my sweet lord in Heaven!" I yelled and grasped onto my ankle.  I bet the inside to keep from screaming anymore.  I felt an arm slink around my waist and I looked up to see Thomas standing there worriedly.  I carefully touched the back of my head.  I pulled my hand back and stared at the sticky red of my blood.  I took in a deep breath trying to control how much I was freaking out.

"You need to go to the hospital," he said carefully.  I just nodded my head as a tear ran down my eye.  "Would you like me to carry you to your car?" he asked quietly.  I nodded and he swoop me up bridal shower.  I couldn't help but cry out in pain, "Sorry," he mumbled.  I nodded numbly.  I looked around the street.  The car that was hurdling towards me was now just sitting in the middle of the road with an angry woman shouting at him.  I couldn't help but laugh.

"Mom, leave him alone!" I shouted at the woman.  My mom turned around smiled timidly at me.  That is until she saw I was crying and in someone else's arms, a man's arms.  She turned one more glare at him, spat on his car, and walked away with dignity.  She came over to me and kissed me on the forehead.

"Thank you young man, if you weren't here..." mom trailed off.  A little tear escaped her eyes.  I bit the inside of my cheek again and my tears stop.  If I cry, my mom cries and I can't let her cry.

"I was here though ma'am, but we need to get her to the hospital," he said and looking down at me.

"Oh of course!" she said and she attempted to get me from his arms but I was just to be for her.  "Would you mind coming with us and carrying her?" she looked up worriedly at him.  "I mean, you don't have to but I would appreciate it," she said while smiling a little smile at him.  He nodded and my mom led us to our dark blue Nisan.  Thomas opened up the back door while holding me with one arm.  I couldn't help but be somewhat amazed by his muscle.  Urgh, I think I hit my head too hard or something.

"How old are you boy?" asked my mom from the front seat as she maneuvered her way to the closest hospital.

"I'm fifteen years old ma'am," Thomas said politely.  Huh, he's the same age as me.

"That's the same age as my daughter," she said into the empty air.  "What's your name?" she asked.

"Thomas Baker," he said with a smile.  Apparently, he thought something was amusing.  I groaned a little and closed my eyes trying to block out the pain in my ankle and head.  "You need to stay awake Lucy," Thomas whispered to me.  I opened my eyes to glare at him.
