What’s a Soulmate?!
The question has often riled up my mind.
Making me wonder is it true,
When they say ‘love is blind’?!
Isn’t love that accepting the past,
Blooms in the present?
Embracing the apprehensions of the future,
Doesn’t love render something arduously pleasant?
First a stranger, a friend, a best friend,
And then the person becomes even more.
The sole placid force amidst the clamor,
A Soulmate is our destined shore.
Hold onto and never let go,
When, my dear, you’ve found ‘the one.’
The one who braces at our worst.
The one who cherishes at our best.
A Soulmate is the one,
Who carves the stronger out of the strongest.
