-Natalie-

“Okay, thank you, goodbye.” I said, throwing my phone on the bed.

Josh had really been acting out lately. There’s only about a week of school left for him, so I don’t know why he picked now to start making my life even more stressful.

I had just gotten off the phone with his school counselor and she thinks it’s important for him to start coming in and talking to her about all of his ‘troubles.’ She apparently has this whole group session for kids with problems at home or in general life.

What this lady doesn’t understand is that she is the last kind of person Josh needs in his life. He needs a father and mother, someone that can actually provide him proper care and love he deserves. And as far as I know, I’m the best thing he’s going to get, because I’m family and that’s what matters most. I’m not letting anyone convince him otherwise

“What happened?” Hannah asked, walking into the room and sitting down beside me.

“Josh is acting up worse than I thought; and this therapist wants him to join some group of hers.”

She half smiled. “Maybe that’s not such a bad idea. I mean, wouldn’t it be better for him to talk to people with similar problems?”

I stopped. “Problems?”

“You know what I mean. He’s been through a lot, and I know you’re doing the best that you can, but maybe that’s not enough.”

This was all too much. There was no way I could be doing this bad of a job trying to take care of him. He was my brother, and I loved him. I couldn’t just decide something like this right on the spot. So, I walked out of the room, grabbed my board, and headed toward the only place I knew I could go to.

It was times like these where I felt as if I was locked in my own world. Forgetting all of the thoughts I had originally been running from. This was my only escape.

~~~~~
I sat down on the sand, looking out to the clear blue sky. The cool layer of water, rising up to the top of my toes. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath, letting it all sink in. There was nobody here, oddly enough, which made it all perfect.
“Umm. Excuse me miss.” I deep voice spoke, not too far away from me.
I jumped a little in fright, looking at the man with a few other people setting up equipment from a farther distance away.
“Y-yes?”
“This property is closed to the public.” He continued, pointing to a sign. I must have missed it. Oops.
“Oh, sorry, I…” I rambled on, feeling stupid as ever. How could I have missed all of this?
“I’m going to have to ask you to leave.” He interrupted sternly.
I stood up quickly, trying to get myself together. “Yeah, of course.”
This was way too weird; I couldn’t wrap my head around anything. I tried to gather my things as quickly as possible though; this man did not seem to be in such a great mood.
“Sorry” I said again, beginning to turn around; but before I had the chance another voice called out to the man. “Hey, it’s alright, she’s with me.”
What? Okay, obviously I’m losing my mind.
-Niall-
The only thing I could concentrate on was finding that girl, the boys and I have pretty much been to every place around this town and every time I think I see her, it gets really awkward. I swear; I’ve made of fool of myself at least twelve times going up to random strangers who either try to attack me and take my clothes off or the occasional pepper spray. I even tried going back to that shack but there were only these two guys there.
It didn’t matter though, we were starting the filming for our first music video today and that was the end of it. I guess I was kind of an idiot for believing in love at first sight anyway.
“Why hello, my little leprechaun!” Louis greeted me happily.
I half smiled. “Hi Lou.”
“What’s wrong with you? You’ve been all out of sorts lately!”
“It’s nothing. I’m quite alright.”
He rolled his eyes. “Oh stop being in deNIALL,” he smirked at his little pun.
I couldn’t help but laugh. Louis, no matter how stupid the joke is, can make you laugh until your stomach hurts. Well, at least me anyway.
“I just, met this girl-”
He stopped me. “I KNEW IT!”
“Can I continue?”
He nodded and I went on. “Remember when we first arrived here, and I went out to go grab something to eat but then just ended up getting a bottle of water because it was so hot that day and there were all of those-“
“Yeah, just get on with story!”
“Oh yeah. Well, I met this girl at the shack I bought the water from and she thought I was like a criminal from The Wanted and-“
Louis burst into laughter. “HAHA I GET IT!”
“And so… we just got to talking and mate, I fell hard.”
Louis placed his finger on his chin and thought. “Well let’s go get her!”
I sighed. “That’s the problem Lou… I don’t know how to.”
We were both interrupted by Liam who was telling us to get in the car so we could get down to the beach in time to start shooting.
~~~~~

When we got there, I looked at the boys excitedly. There’s nothing I love more than the ocean, so I knew this was going to take my mind of things for a bit.

I hopped out of the car and we all made our way under a tent where they had all of our hair and touch up stuff at. The rest of the people were setting up the cameras and finding good places to shoot some of the parts.

Everything was going well, until I saw Paul over at the other end of the beach talking to some person in the distance. I almost fell back in my chair when I saw a better glimpse of the person standing up and turning around. What the heck was Paul doing kicking her off the set?

“Hey, it’s alright, she’s with me.”

Paul and the girl looked over at me in confusion. She probably thought I was nut.

Paul placed his hand on her back and walked her over to where we were all standing. “Niall, wait is that her? Is she the girl you saw at the shack?” Louis asked excitedly.

I nodded. “Yeah, that’s her.”

“Uhhh. Niall? Who might this girl be?” Liam asked looking even more confused than everyone else.

I ignored him as Paul stood there with her right by his side. “Who is she?” He asked.

“She’s a- friend.” I stated.

She narrowed her eyebrows at me. “A friend of whom? Because I don’t see anyone I recognize here!”

She was just not going to make this easy on me, was she?

“I’m that guy from The Wanted, remember?” I asked her.

Her face lightened. “Oh.”

“The Wanted?” The boys asked curiously.

We both smiled. “You had be there.”
