He chuckled, and my cheeks turned red

B: I mean sure

I giggled awkwardly. 

J: That giggle is going to be the death of me

B: Than I should giggle more often

J: Yeah you really should

Jughead POV

She wrapped her hands around my waist and gave me a hug, and I gladly returned it. We were in the kitchen, just hugging eventually I sat down on the stool and we started making out. Until we were rudely interrupted by my phone ringing, we pulled away, I looked at the caller ID and it was my dad. I kept my hand on Betty's waist and answered. 

*On the phone*

J: Hey dad, what’s up?

FP: Boi, where the hell are you? You were suppose to be home two hours ago

“ Wow, I've been making out with Betty for an hour now”, I thought to myself. While Betty played with my hair.

J: Sorry dad, I gave Betty a ride home, Am on my way, okay?

FP: Betty huh? boi just call me next time, I got home early today, so we could order pizza and watch some movies because today was your first day back, guess we will do that when you arrive

J: Great, see you then

*I hung up*

J: I am so sorry Betts, but I have to go, my dad got home earlier than usual and he's waiting for me, I wish I didn't have to go but I do.

Than I remembered Archie could be home any minute, anyway.

B: Don't worry about it jug, we will have plenty of time tomorrow 

J: Yeah, I can’t wait. Wow I still can't believe your my girlfriend

She smiled.

B: I do have to ask you something before you go

She sounded worried.

J: Go ahead

B: Well I know about the "promise", you and the boys made to Archie, and knowing him, he won't let us date, and I really want to be with you, so don't tell Archie, just yet

I was going to tell her that we shouldn't tell Archie too. But I was nervous I didn’t want her to assume that I wasn’t happy, or that I was embarrassed, I couldn’t lose her, I mean I just got her. So am really glad she was the one that brought it up.

J: I was going to tell you the same thing. Just until we find a way to tell him and than we can go public, as long as that's okay with y-

I was cut of by a small peck on the lips

B: Sounds like a plan, it will be our little forbidden romance.

J: Exactly

I tug a loose curl behind her ear and give her a quick kiss. She was so understanding and we only been together for like an hour,

J: Well,  I have to go, my blond beauty, I will text you later, Okay?

B: Okay, say hi to your dad for me, okay?

J: Will do

I kissed her once more, and left.

Betty’s POV

I can’t believe it, I am dating Jughead. I was so happy. And he said he liked me to. Out of nowhere Archie walked through the door. I quickly wiped my mouth knowing my lipstick probably smeared a little

Ar: Hey Betty, who drove you home?

B: Oh um, Jughead did

A: Wait wha-

Before he could finish I was making my way up the stairs. My phone started ringing, it was veronica

*on the phone*

V: Hey B, how was your hot ride

B: V you knew about it?

V: I kinda planned it

B: Vee!!!

I said annoyed

V: Am sorry okay, but you needed some alone time with Jug, before your date tomorrow and since Archie doesn’t know I had to play my part

B: Well your plan worked, really well.

V: What happened?

B: Well we arrived, and I asked him why he asked me out. He said he really liked me and I didn’t know what to do so I kissed him, and he kissed me back. 

V: OMG 

B: That’s not even the best part V, he asked me to be his girlfriend

I could hear how excited Veronica was.

V: And what did you say?

B: Yes, of course.

V: OMG!!! B am so happy for you, Ah!! BUGHEAD is rising

I chuckled.

V: Okay B, you know what this means you have to look extra hot tomorrow night, not that it will be hard. And I promise tomorrow will be perfect, god I feel so honored that your first date with jug will be at my speakeasy, well I got to go B, I will see you tomorrow, omg am so excited, love you, bye 

B: Love you too, bye

*The call ended*

  I did some homework after my call with ronnie, I texted kevin and told him about what happened, tomorrow I will tell Cheryl and toni. My mom arrived home, and started cooking dinner. While Archie played his guitar in the garage. I studied a bit more downstairs. My dad got home and I helped set the table. We all sat down at the table for dinner, We talked for a bit about our day, and then headed up stairs.  Archie and my dad were watching a movie down stairs. So I decided to ask my mom about tomorrow. She was outside on the porch reading.

B: Hey mom

A: Hey honey

B: Can I ask you something?

A: Of course

She said while she patted the seat in front of her, for me to sit down.

B: Well you know how I have a crush on Jughead

She nodded her head.

B: Well he asked me to be his girlfriend

A: Oh my god honey that’s amazing, but what are you going to ask me?

B: Oh, well I was wondering if it was okay if I went out with him tomorrow night, I know it’s a school night but I will be back around ten, and we’ll be at the speakeasy.

A:  That’s okay, you can go. It's totally fine.

B: Really?

A:Yes

I jumped and hugged her.

B: Thank you, oh one more thing don’t tell Archie, he won't be okay with me and jug dating

A: Don’t worry honey your secret is safe with me

B: OMG, great also don’t tell dad.

She laughed and nodded. I then went back inside and headed up stairs to get ready for bed, I took a shower, and put on some pj’s on. I then got a text from Jug that said “good night, beautiful” which made me smile, I replied “ Night Juggie” and then I drifted off to sleep.
