I pushed the cart walking into a 24 hrs Walmart. It was like 3am in the morning. We had to go early so that a crowd wouldn't form around Melly who was trailing behind me on his phone.
"Baeeeeee" he said as I picked up some gallon bottles of Green Tea.
"Yes" I said only turning my head. He was tapping on his phone still.
I sighed and kept walking watching him from my peripheral vision.
I picked up some cheese and sour cream. Once I turned around he was gone.
"Melly" I said it was quiet. Only the music was playing.
I looked down the aisle and no one was here.
I looked the other way and no one was there. I turned around and there was Melly holding a pack of Poland Spring water bottles.
"Hea bae" he said putting it on the bottom of the cart.
"Melly why you leave like that?" I said pouting.
"I went to get some water, what happend" he said getting a little worried.
"Nothing you just left me" I said pushing the cart.
"You know I hate being left"
I turned to the ice cream isle.
"I know baby I'm sorry I just really want some water" he said opening the fridge wit the cookies and cream ice cream.
"Thank you" I said reaching for my ice cream.
We walked down a little further and he got his chocolate chip cookie dough.
That's everything right I said to him.
"Yeah I think so" he said typing on his phone.
Ugh what am I gonna do wit this boy.
Melly
This game is intense. I'm playing cooking fever. Mad people want cupcakes and ion have enough.
"Damn" I said locking my phone and putting the groceries in the trunk.
I got in the car and drove toward my house.
"Babbyyyyyyy." Zara said tapping me.
"Alright alrighty."I said pulling into McDonald's.
She smiled.
"Aye lemme get, wait y'all open?" I said confused
"Yes" I hear a girl say.
"Okay lemme get the 9 piece buttermilk tenders some fries and a sweet tea wit lemon. Sweet and sour sauce and barbecue sauce in da bag slime." I said.
"What size" she said giggling.
"Large. Oh Gimme two of those" I said before driving to the next window.
"What the fuck was so funny?" Zara said shifting her weight in her seat.
"I don't know" I said laughing.
I pulled up to the next window and got my wallet.
"Your total is 14.7–MELLY?" She said.
As soon as I turned my head I regretted pulling into this parking lot. It was Monica, I could never forget what she did. Ima just play it off.
"Yup its me in the flesh" I said fake smiling giving her 20 dollars.
"Keep the change" I said rolling my window up knowing Zara was bouta spaz.
She was just studying me with her eyes nearly closed (😑).
"Wha bae" I said.
"Nothing" she said before picking up her phone and taping on it.
I got the food and we left.
She started looking in the bag.
"Oh hell no, tf is this?" She said pulling out a note card.
"Ion kno" I said dryly.

"Melly what is this" Zara asked again.
"Zara, I honestly don't know."
"Did you know that girl?"
"Yes, Monica she was in my past. I told you about her already. She was a fuck and duck" I said shrugging it off.
"So what did she do?"
"Member she acted like she was pregnant wit my child for mad long and she wasn't even pregnant." I said getting upset all over again.
"Ohhhh yeahhhhhh" Zara said stuffing fries in her mouth.
"Can I get some" I said pouting.
"No nigga" she said pushing my head away.
"Wow" I said swerving to scare her.
"Stop Melly" she said sitting in her seat correctly.
"So stop tripping and Gimmie some fries."
She threw a fry at my face.
"I gotchu watch when we get home"
