It was empty.
"Fucking hell." I muttered.
I go back downstairs to get the snacks from the pantry. I made sure that nobody was here to see me, so that they won't know that i was the one grabbing the snacks. Devious, i know.
I looked left, right, up, down, back, and front, before grabbing the priced possessions. I made sure to hide them underneath my shirt. It was a little bit uncomfortable with the pointy corners, but i really don't want to share so it's needed. I looked down at my bulky shirt. They'll never know.
A goblin laugh escaped my lips.
Unbeknownst by me, everyone got sightings of the fabled anime addict that goes down only for meal times and rarely anything else. My mother only sipped her drink, her other spawn only giggled and recorded me, her other other spawn only said, "Weirdo . . ." but i didn't hear nor saw them. Oh, and father was asleep.
"Interior crocodile aligator, i drive a Chevrolet movie theater~" I hummed while walking like one of those tiktok videos and going upstairs to my domain. And while i was doing that, my family just watches this unfold and snickered at my antics. I giggled at myself for my silliness.
'I'm not like other girls,' I mocked. 'I'm a cryptid.'
Now back in my room, i put away the spoils of treasure before flopping on my bed and continuing the show. The intro of the episode played as i sang along with the lyrics (more so gibberish because I don't know japanese, but close enough), giggling like a maniac because of excitement for what will happen next. I haven't had anything interesting to watch ever since the last anime i watched.
I spent two days watching JJBA non-stop, trying to finish it. And crying in between because the author of the series is evil enough to make us suffer with the deaths of our favourite characters. Fucking hell, i need a moment to recollect myself. I still haven't coped with the deaths. It takes a lot out of me when characters die so I'm spent.
I look at the time, 4:30 PM, it said.
Since i finished the series, i was already getting bored. Once again, i lay on my bed in a starfish position, staring at the ceiling. This time, i stayed like that a lot longer than usual.
Maybe i should watch another anime? Watch youtube videos until i fall asleep? Tiktok?
I'm getting tired of this. Tired of staying in my house for days on end, doing nothing but stimulating my brain to distract it from collapsing in on itself. It's getting exhausting. I want to go out again and do . . . something! Anything!
I sighed.
I wish things were back to the way they used to . . .
I wonder what it would be like to be in JJBA . . .
---------------
As you slowly woke up from your dreamless sleep, you stared at the ceiling for a while. An unfamiliar ceiling. You don't even remember falling asleep, but here you were, still half-awake. You sat up to stretch your whole body, pops and creaks from your body echoing through the room. All the while yawning and sounding like hyena trying to imitate a howling wolf.
Unconsciously, you reached to your bedside table for your phone but reach all you can, you couldn't seem to feel your phone. Let alone a table. Panic shot through your body as you look to the side to see nothing but the floor.
You were now fully awake. You slowly take in your surroundings, not recognising the room that you were in. You finally realized that you weren't in your room.
'Where am i? This isn't my room.' You thought, panicked, but you tried to calm yourself and think rationally.
'This is probably a dream, calm down,' you reassured yourself. 'What could i possibly dream of that has everything look old?' You peered out the window and see a fountain outside.
There was a sudden knock that had you startled. Followed after was a voice. A British one, you noticed. Their voice was muffled by the door so all you could make out was a,
"Hello?"
.
.
.
"Wha?"

*Anak- my son/daughter, could also be my child
*po- it doesn't necessarily have a translation, but it's a term we use to respect our elders or to older people, (ex: Saan po kayo pupunta inay? / Where are you going Mom?)
*nay- slang for nanay/inay (nanay/inay means Mom/mother but nanay could also mean grandma/grandmother, it depends on how you use it)
