I woke up the next morning with my little sister Clara jumping on my bed.

"Dani wake up I'm bored"

"Clara! Go away." i groaned but she kept on jumping i huffed and sat up. She was five year old and annoying.

"Fine I'm up" she giggled

"Daddy says to pack cause were leaving tonight" i nodded

"Go scoot" she jumped off my bed and i began to pack. The showered and dressed before having breakfast.

"Hey Dad I'm going to meet up with a friend before we go okay?"

"Yeah but take Clara with you please" i was about to protest when he gave me the look of there is no point in arguing.

i took Clara hand and went to look round for both Troy and Gabriella.

"who we looking for?" she asked i saw Gabriella but no Troy.

"her. Hey Gabriella"

"oh hey Danielle" i sat down next to her.

"oh this is my little sister Clara. Clara this is Gabriella" Clara did something un expected and got really shy mumbling a hi.

"so what happened after i left?"

"nothing much really you were great by the way." she smiled

"what's she talking about"

"tell you later."

"i was going to ask which school do you go to maybe i know it" she asked nervously.

"it okay well i just moved so next week I'll be going to East High in Albuquerque."

"really so will i" she was shock

"cool maybe we could meet up or something " i suggested

"yeah that would be great" we talk some more before we both had to leave.

ONE WEEK LATER

oh god this school was so big how was i ever going to meet up with Gabriella. since we met we had been texting each other. we were now friends which was a weird feeling seen as i wasn't used to having a friend that wasn't my Dad and on occasion my little sister.

i looked around helplessly when i bumped into someone.

"oh not again" i grumbled

"Dani?" i looked up a big grin now on my face.

"Gabby found you." that's right we were so socially awkward that's we were weird enough to already have our name shortened by each other.

"you lost" she asked

"sort of i have a bit of idea where I'm going but i was trying to find you. now that i have i need to find Miss Darbus' class."

"its freaky how were always in the same place and bumping into each other." she joked

"yeah anyway now we can be newbie's together." i nodded and we followed the map.
