My clock buzzed at 6:30 in the morning. Time for another grueling day at school, but school wasn't that bad.

It's sort of like soccer practice in a way.
Hard and painful sometimes, but rewarding and fun too.

Okay, who am I kidding, school sucks.

I showered and put my hair into a high ponytail with silver earrings, and slipped into my uniform and my Converse.

I reluctantly shuffled downstairs to grab a quick banana for breakfast.
My dad must have still been in Miami with Carson, because only Tiffinay and my mom sat at the dining room table.

"Good morning strawberry shortcake,"
mom said, as bubbly as ever. I gave her a wave as I grabbed my backpack and headed towards the door where Mason's mom would take me to school. Mom homeschooled Tiffinay, because she wanted her to focus on her modeling career. Ridiculous, I know.
I hopped in the car with Mason and we talked about the new kid, almost the whole way to school.

"I hear he's taking an important position," Mason said, just as we pulled into school.

"And what would that be?" I asked.

"You'll have to find that out by yourself!" He said racing me to the gates of school.

Our first class on Mondays was Social studies. The worst of the worst. I met up with Emily and Ava, who both wore matching bows and bracelets. I was a bit jealous of their girly personalities sometimes as well.

"Have you seen the new kid yet?" Emily asked In a hushed tone. I shook my head in response.

"Have you?" I replied. She shook her head as well.

Suddenly, the bell rung, signaling first period was starting.

"Well I guess we'll get to meet him now!" I said as running towards room 7.

I sat in the middle row, with my friends Hannah, and Emily on either sides of me. Mrs. Kenton walked in, followed by the most flawless boy I had ever seen.
She walked to her desk, and the boy followed.

"Children, this is Dillion Skilark. he is from Stanton, the private school just down the block."

"Since you are new Dillion, who would you like to shadow?" Mrs. Kenton asked.

Knowing it would not be me, I put my head down and tried to dream of scoring on the goalie for the Brazil women's soccer team.

"The girl with the pink headband," Dillion said pointing a finger right a my forehead. I looked right into his sharp grayish blue eyes with question. He looked away shyly.

"Wonderful! Dillion, this is Taylor Bryce. She is the captain for our middle school soccer team," He smiled a gorgeous smile at me and we shook hands. His hands were soft, but firm. he had a thin frame, barely taller than me, but I could see how he was a soccer player.

He sat right behind me and I could feel my face getting hotter as Mark and Alex glared at me, then to him. I glared back at them saying to cut it out. Alex giggled and held his hands up in surrender. I sunk back in my chair in embarrassment.

This was going to be a long day.

At lunch, I sat at my usual table, with the soccer team, but instead of Mason on my right, sat Dillion. I studied his chocolate brown hair, and cinnamon skin. His eyes were amazing. they were a light blue on the inside, and a light gray along the rim. Alex must have caught me staring because he snapped his fingers at me.
