The audience was cheering and screaming with joy as Jade and Darian walked to the battlefield with aggron and flare by their sides. "The time has come for these two competators to face off!" Diana proudly announced. "With the 5 minutes on the timer, We begin!"
"Aright Flare, Use Flamethrower!" Flare sent out a flamethrower heading straight for aggron. "Dig." Aggron went underground and surfaced right under flare, sending her flying in the air. "Dont give up flare! keep going with hidden power!" Hidden power hit its mark and aggron stepped backward, but seened un phased. "Both trainers points have dropped little by little, but with 4 minutes on the clock, its anyones victiry!" said diana. Jade was going over weak points in her head, trying to find a spot to attack. "Thats it!" she said. "Flare! spin and use flamethrower! like we did with Blaze!" A stream of fire came out of Flare's stick/wand and she begun spinning. Flare span faster and faster until you coculd only see a tornado of fire bracing towards aggron! "What?!?!" said darian "Aggron deflect that with mega punch!" Aggron tried to stop the blazing tornado, but was knocked to the ground as soon as his fist hit the the inferno. "Ouch!" said Diana "That will cost darian a good amount of points." Darian wiped the shocked look off his face. "Use earthquake and lets get rid of that tornado!" "Dont let him Flare!" Shouted jade! "Jump up and switch to hidden power!" Flare jumped into the air and used hidden power, hitting aggron with great power. "Not yet! aggron use your-" BEEEEEEEEEEEEP! the timer sounded before darian could get his command through. "Thats it!" shouted diana "Time is up! our winner is jade! She wins the Santalune Contest Ribbon!" "We won flare!" Toby sat there with a faint smile on his face. It was his turn now, He was planning on taking on the gym leader in the morning
