Ben's POV:

We walk together hand and hand until we reach the end of the hallway. I begin to see a few boxes with beautiful engravings on them, I look up at the names for those boxes and I realize.

They are not boxes at all but caskets that house the bodies of different force users. The ones in white caskets must contain the bodies of light side force users that moved on to something better, the ones in white caskets with engraving on them are force ghosts. I turned around to examine the other side. Those ones in the black caskets had a worse fate and were dark side force users. At the end of the line of white caskets, there is one grey one with my name above it in purple. I wanted to look inside the casket, as I'm about to open it I hear the little girl next to me begin to cry and pull me away from it. I turn to her to see what's wrong when I notice there are now two other children near us. One in white Jedi robes and other in black Sith style robes. Both appear to be of teenage age, young adults at most. I instinctively pick up the little girl who's been with me this far and hold her tight to my chest. "Shh, It's ok. I'm here." I say in a hushed tone as I try to help her call down.

"We are the guardians of this place and are here to help those through this confusing stage." The one in white states flatly. "Right now you have a choice to make. You can either become a force ghost or say your goodbyes and be at peace." The one in black continues sounding rather impatient. I stare at them for a moment surprised by what they are saying. "There is one more option." The little girl in my arms starts. I rotate her in my arms until she is facing me. "You could return to the world you know" She states with pleading eyes. My head is full of questions but one sticks out to me the most. "Why do I get a choice?" I ask. The one in white nods before responding, "The Jedi have fairly recently taught themselves how to reach this plane." The one in black follows up by saying, "When they come here they have to make their choice but they will not remember it. When they make a choice to become a force ghost they are truly becoming one with the force; however, when they are ready they can always come back and make the other choice to rest and be at peace in the other plane." Silence fills the hallway for a moment as I am given a chance to process the information I was just given. "You are special though. Due to the way you're bonded with mo...Rey" The girl starts then pauses as if she is trying to think of what words to say next. Then she continues, "You and Rey are supposed to be connected to each other always through your dyad. Both in the way you are able to balance the light and dark side of the force and the way you share your life force with each other. However, when you saved her, this balance was drastically thrown off since you were not just saving her but m...your children as well." The one in white spoke up, "So when you passed away, instead of bringing you straight here, the force put you in a place where you could see what all three of your choices were and what they would look like. At the same time correcting your life force. Then the force sent you here when it thought you were ready to make the choice for yourself." I still had so many questions I wanted to ask. "This is all we can tell you. Once you have made your choice we will guide you through the process. Now you just have to make your choice." The one in black says.

I turn my attention back to the little girl in my arms. I have to know two things before I can even think about making a decision so I ask almost sounding desperate, "Who are you? I have such feelings for you and I don't quite understand why. Will I ever see you again?" She smiles weekly as tears form in her eyes. "I can't answer that. I had to promise that I wouldn't sway your choice in any way. I am so glad I have gotten to meet you and I really do hope we get to meet again one day. For now, though it is time to let me go and make your choice." She explains. I start to cry along with her while I give her one final hug. I take all my strength and will power to put her down. Once I do, all of them disappear and I feel my soul break.
