Chapter two : Getting the flowers at night

《DRACO'S POV》

After lunch and clean out,Leo was drawing his house and where the flowers were planted. I was just washing the dishes,waiting him to finish drawing. As i was done with the last plate,i went ahead and sat beside him. "Done!" He shouted. "Ow. Ears!" I said as I saw him rolled his eyes. "If I'm loud,why would you sit next to me?" He scoffed. "Because i want to" i replied,stroking his cheeks. I can see him blushing. "Okay then." He stand up,burning up.

"So tell me,Angel. When are we going to get the flowers?" I said as I stand up too.

"My sisters are always active. So they're heavy sleepers. At 11-ish pm is perfect to get the flowers."

"Good."

"But" he pointed at a scary figure he drew. It was tall,white skin,dressed all black and has no nose. Huh,what a strange looking dad. "My dad wakes up at 3 am to do and i quote "work." So we have to leave at 1 or 2 am. If we can get it faster,we can sleep early."

"Why's your dad looks funny looking?" I asked.

"I don't know. Now i realise,my sisters and I don't look relate to him." He replied

"Oh. Now,the plan?"

"Oh okay. Wait a minute.."

"What?"

He sighed.

"I just remember...The main flower we need is in the backyard."

"The main flower? What does that flower do?" I felt his wing wrap around me. It's very warm..

"That flower makes the victm barf up the toxins. It's pretty strong so we only need 2 to 3 petals."

"Why did you plant it in the backyard?"

"It needs to be exposed to light more. And the sun always hits my backyard more."

I sighed. How can we enter in the backyard without the sisters and his dad notice? I think for a while. "How can we do this?" I said. I can hear tapping sounds Leo make with his fingers.

"I can fly so...I'm going to get the petals at the back and you get the flowers at the frontyard."

"What?! They'll see you!"

"Don't worry. I'll fly very quickly when i get the petals."

I place my hand on his and hold it tight. "Be careful.." I said as he turn his head to me. "I will..." He softly whispered. I lean closer. He's been staying with me for 2 weeks and i got closer and closer to him everyday. I can't handle these feelings...

I love him.

I really do.

I want him to be mine.

I want him to stay with me forever.

I will not let him be taken.

When I got too close. I was ready. Until-

"I knew it! Not in my house!" Dang it! It's my dad! I back away,leaving Leo a blushing mess. "I'm sorry." I said. "Uhm- it's fine. I just- We plan everything now. We got the time and everything." He cleans up. "I'll meet you upstairs!" He took his stuff and went upstairs. But i didn't hear a door close. Weird,where did he go? Then,i finally hear my door close.

"So,what was that?"

"It was nothing dad."

He raise an eyebrow.

"Just- What is it?" I said. "It's your mom. She needs you"

"Oh okay." As i walk past my dad,he said "and if you want your first kiss,wait untill you two are ready. You two are only seven." "Alright,dad." I replied as i walk upstairs. I enter my mom's room. As i creak the door open,My mom was breathing sharply. She can't even breath... Now,I'm scared. I walk to her bed. She turn her head.
