I love you, don't you mind don't you mind

I put your mother through hell, don't you mind
I hurt your brother as well, don't you mind don't you mind
Oh I was thinking bout killing myself, don't you mind
I love you, don't you mind don't you mind"

Tuesday 5:25pm

Jason's POV

"Alex! I'm going out!" I yelled.

"Alright bye!" He replied.

I walked outside and put my hood up.

It was raining but I didn't care.

As I walked around my block I noticed a girl.

She was just walking alone with no jacket just books in her arms and a bag on her back.

She was crying or maybe it was just the rain.

I looked closer, her eyes were red.

She was crying.

I never seen her before.

I never see anyone walk around here.

She slipped and fell causing all her books to fall all over the ground.

"Here let me help you." I said while attempting to grab one of her books but she just grabbed it away from me.

"Thank you but I can handle myself." She snapped.

She was shivering and her teeth were chattering.

I took off my jacket and put it around her.

"What are you doing?" She asked.

"I'm keeping you from getting sick." I said.

"Like I said earlier i can handle myself." She hissed and threw my jacket at me.

"I was just being nice, geez." I mumbled.

"Whatever." She muttered and walked farther away.

If this is what's gonna happen when I be nice then damn I love being mean.

I walked around for about twenty minutes and then went back home.

Jackie's POV

"Jackie! Where were you?!" My foster brother yelled.

"Walking from school to here because someone forgot to pick me up!" I snapped at him.

"BY THE WAY IT WAS RAINING!!" I added yelling.

"Stop yelling! What is going on he- Jackie wh-"

"BECAUSE HE SAID HE WAS GONNA PICK ME UP BUT I GUESS HE DECIDED TO FORGET!" I hissed at my foster mom.

"James I need to talk to you and Jackie go get yourself cleaned up and go to bed."

I ran up to my room and threw my bag on the floor and books.

I looked at my books

They were all wet.

I looked at the book that the boy tried to pick up earlier.

I don't know why I so mean to him.

He was just trying help.

I'm such a dick.

I wish I could learn how to be nice to nice people.

Saturday12:37am

"Jackie where were you?! We were worried sick! If you come home l-"

"Shut the fuck up!" I snapped and ran up to my room, slamming the door behind me.

I heard something fall and glass shattering.

I look behind me and saw a picture frame.

The picture was an old family picture.

My real parents and my real brother.

My real sister.

We were all smiling.

It was Christmas.

All our gifts opened in the background.

I felt tears streaming down my face.

I ran to my bathroom and grabbed my razor.
