Better Together (Alastor x Reader) (COMPLETE ^^;)

Finally, a nomal(ish) day!

Your POV:

"B-but... It isn't that eye-catching... It is quite plain-" Before you could finish, you felt something touch my lips. You roughly looked to them and saw that Alastor had put his finger there. He removed his finger. "My dear, no matter what you wear, it will always catch my eye." You felt your face burn from his comment. You heard him chuckle and watched him hold his hand to you. "Shall we be off, dear?" You smiled and put your hand in his. "We shall."

~Time Skip, later in the evening~

Alastor's POV:

I watched as (Y/n) walked closer to the water. For Hell, the beach looked somewhat normal, at least from I remember. (Y/n) said if the sky wasn't so red, it would be like the sunset. I smiled as they stepped in the water and reached down. I assumed they found something in the sand, based on how they were digging around. I walked to them and asked, "What did you find, my dear?" They stood up and held out a shell. I looked at it until they withdrew the shell and stuck it in into their pocket. (If you chose the dress, there is little pockets!) They were absolutely adorable as they smiled a big, toothy grin towards me. I grabbed their hand and started to walk to one of the main reasons we were here.

Your POV:

"Alastor? Where are we going?" You asked. He chuckled and and looked back to you. "It is a surprise, my sweet! You will have to wait!~ It isn't too far now!" He seemed excited, which was rare for him. You smiled and shrugged, deciding to go with the flow.

After a little walk, you and Alastor arrived at a dock, it wasn't too big, but not very small. You walked up, like, four stairs and you noticed a light at the end of the dock. You and Alastor walked towards the light, and once you two were close enough, you noticed it was a table. Your mouth opened slightly and then turned into a small smile. Alastor stopped walking turned towards you. "Ta-da! I hope you like it my dear!" He led you to a chair and held the chair out for you. 'Such a gentleman!' You sat down and felt him push the chair in. He sat in his chair and snapped his finger. You watched the covered plates open up. You looked to the dish, and you were surprised when it was something other than vension. You smelled the dish, and was greeted with the scent of many spices. "Jambalaya." You heard. You raised your head up and looked to Alastor. "Hm?" He chuckled and repeated himself. "Jambalaya. It was something I learned from my mother." He smiled his usual smile, but there was no malice in it. It was full of love. You smiled and reached for your fork. You took a bite and was greeted by sausage, and different types of vegetables. Your eyes widened. "Whoa! This tastes so good, Alastor!" You smile and looked to him. He smiled back and started to eat as well.

After you two were done, Alastor stood up. You, confused, started to stand as well. You were stopped by Alastor's shadow putting its' hand on your shadow. You got the hint and sat back down, watching the demon in front of you. "I will be right back my dearest. There is... One more thing for this night." He smiles and walke away.

It took no more than three minutes for him to return. He walked to you, but stopped halfway to you. "My dear, would you please come to me?" You stood, satisfied when you felt no hand on your shoulder. You made your way to Alastor, and stopped a good foot away from him. You looked into his eyes and it hit you. He was his normal self, yes, but he had a different expression than what he usually wore. He had a slight frown, his face a dark shade of red, and a single sweat drop rolled from his temple. You tilted your head to the side. "Alastor?" He looked to you, closed his eyes and took a deep breath in. He got down on one knee and your heart stopped. You watched him pull out a red velvet box while your heart raced. You felt tears start to form in your eyes as he looked to you. "I will admit, I am very shakened at the moment. I haven't done this type of thing before, so forgive me if this is isn't the greatest thing I have said. My dear, I never thought that this moment would ever be happening. I never thought I could love, but you proved me wrong. When I first met you, I had the feeling in my chest, a feeling I was confused about. Now, that I am no longer pushing it away, I found it to be love. I love you, and I am not ashamed to admit it. You have showed me how to accept the emotions and feelings that have showed theirselves." He took a breath and looked to the side, smiling. You felt your heart twist, but not in a bad way! You felt the tears fall and he looked back to you. "I know that I am not the greatest demon, I wasn't a good human, but I hope you find a way to look past my flaws. I am trying to better myself, how good I am at it, well, that is for others to decide." He chuckles and you find yourself giggling as well. "(Y/n), I love you. You mean the entire world to me. I feel like this is becoming a long confession, so let me ask the question that you have been waiting for." He takes another deep breath. "(Y/n), my dear, would you do me the honor and become my (husband/wife)?"

You felt the tears flow out faster and you nodded your head. "Of course Alastor!" You smiled and ran to him, dropped to your knees and hugged him close.

Alastor's POV:

They... said yes... They said yes! I hugged them back and started to feel tears roll down my face. We pulled back from each other and I leaned in and kissed the love of my life. I felt them smile into the kiss. I leaned back and slipped the ring on their finger. This is the moment I never thought I would ever experience.

...so this is what live feels like...

Okay so! I know this chapter seemed kinds rushed, but I wanted to try and end it on a good note! I also would like to sat that this will be the final chapter! I know, I should do some more, but I want to work on another book! I'm sorry! I hope you all understand! ;^; I hope you enjoyed the book, hopefully it wasn't too bad! ^-^;
