Like always I started making my way to the school library which was on the other side of campus. Meaning I have to go through halls up stairs passing tons of people who don't like me.
Great.
Right by the door there was the group of potheads. They never bothered me they were high most of the time. But a couple of the guys noticed me and smiled. I kept walking apprehensivly walking down the long corridor. I went to my locker really quick and got my ID card. So far so good. I turn the corner leading up to the stairs and I stopped. Lindsey, the school bitch, was talking with her group of followers laughing about something probably something idiotic. I mustered up the courage to slowly walk up the stairs with my head down, trying to be unnoticed as possible. Of course... I failed because I felt a hand grab my shoulder and pushed me against the wall. I was then face to face with Lindsey Caldwell. She always looked the same face caked in make up, probably couldn't even recognize her if she showed up with out any on. Her blond hair was all over the place making her look a little like a wild lion. Her face formed that stupid smirk every time she was about to do something bitchy. "Hey stupid nerd, did ya miss me?" I kept walking up the stairs and mumbled "Not imparticularly, no." I felt her hand grab my backpack and pull me backwards. I would have fallen down the stairs if she hadn't been holding on to my backpack. "Listen you stupid little slut, I don't need any of your smat ass shit today, or any day in fact, your not special so go check yourself before you get hurt." I looked at her then continued to go up the stairs. I whispered to myself,"Well your the dumbass who wanted to talk to me in the first place." Apparently I said it a little to loud because she heard me and her and her groupies started following her up the stairs. I did the only thing I could do. I ran. I ran up the stairs as fast as I could and went inside the girls bathroom. Not a good idea since I would be trapped in there until they left me alone.
Just as I thought right when I locked my self in they began to taunt me with insults. "Stupid bitch."
"Know it all cunt."
"No wonder why your dad left you."
"Freak"
"Retarded emo slut"
My mom always told me to be strong but they were ripping down my walls as if they were made of toothpicks. I felt hot tears start to stream down my fast and they kept coming down fast. Soon I was sobbing and their insults continued. I grabbed my phone and earphones and turned it on full volume listening to Immortals by Fall Out Boys.
I went to contacts and made a new text for my best friend April.
-hey um... Lindsey and her friends have me um... Cornered in a bathroom stall can you come get me please I don't know what to do.-
I waited a while a few songs went by then it stopped. The faint mumbling of their insults stopped. I cracked open the door and saw the best thing I could have thought of. April Troyan sitting on the bathroom sink looking at me with a sad smile that I was oh so used to. I ran out and hugged her as tight as I could. After a couple minutes I started to cry again, but even besides the fact I laughed, looked at her and said, "School hasn't even started yet dude."
