It was the same everyday for Taylor Wilson. She would walk down the halls of Senice Highschool getting the same looks from people. Sometimes it was pity, annoyance, but most of the time it was hatred and disgust. Hatred that began since she was in the fifth grade. Apparently people look down upon students who have all honors classes, and straight A' s since ever. She just want to be treated normal...
The teachers aren't much of a help since they always ask her most of the questions. 10th grade hasn't been any different from previous years. Kids push her down, steal her books, pull her hair, call her horrible names, literally for being smart. She has only a few friends she can depend on, and thats not even the last of it.
She lives with her mom and older sister, Luce. Her dad abandoned me at age 10 and she remembers every second of it. At age 13 she thought that cutting her wrists was the appropriate thing to do because she was so miserable, but it all changed began when a new family moved next door.
