Matt’s Point Of View
I was dancing with Maya and I looked over at Josh and Violet. They were dancing close together and kissing each other.
I instantly got pissed.
“Maya can we talk?”
“Yeah, what’s wrong baby?”
“Um,” I said as we sat down on the steps outside.
“Listen, Maya, you’ve been an amazing girlfriend and I love being with you. You’re an amazing person-” she cut me off.
“Oh my gosh! Yes!”
“What?”
“Yes, I will marry you”
My eyes went big and I tried not to laugh. “Um, I’m not proposing to you. I’m breaking up with you”
“What?!” she exploded. “How can you be breaking up with me?”
“I’ve moved on”
“Moved on? You know what? Whatever. I can get a new guy like that,” she snapped her fingers when she said that and stormed off.
“Well, that went well,” I said to myself.
Violet’s Point Of View
“I’m going to get something to drink, I’ll be right back” I said to Josh when the song ended.
“Okay,”
I made my way through the crowd and headed toward the kitchen.
I walked passed a door and I heard someone crying.
I opened the door and I saw Maya?
Josh’s Point Of View
I walked over to the guys and joined their conversation.
“Hey Josh” Cloey said to me
“Hey Cloey,”
“Can I talk to you for a minute?”
“Yeah, what’s up?” I asked as we walked away from the guys.
“I miss you” she said pushing herself on me.
“I see you everyday at school”
“No, I mean, I miss being with you,”
“Cloey-” was I could say before she crashed her lips into mine. She pushed me down on the sofa and crawled on top of me.
I pushed her off and got up. “Coley, I don’t like you anymore,”
“Why? Just dump that purple eyed freak and come back to me,”
“No, I love her. And what happen to Mike?”
She rolled her eyes. “I was using him. I broke up with him. He looks happy now”
I turned around and saw Mike dancing with a girl.
“Why date a girl when you could have a woman?” she asked
“Because, I love her” and with that I walked away.
Matt’s Point Of View
I saw Violet walk out of a closet with Maya. She gave her a hug and then walked into the kitchen.
She saw me and glared.
Violet opened the fridge and took out a soda.
“Hey”
“Go away,”
“What’s up?”
“Leave me alone,”
“I can’t do that. You look beautiful by the way,” I said coming closer to her.
“Get away from me. You’re my boyfriend’s best friend, last time I checked, best friends don’t try to seduce their best friend’s girlfriend,” she said
“I’m sorry, but I’m crazy about you. Everything about you turns me on,”
“Whatever” she said walking away but I grabbed her writs.
I crashed my lips into hers. My hands moved down her back and down to her legs.
She pushed me away. “Stop doing that!” she said and stormed off.
Josh’s Point Of View
I saw Violet come out of the kitchen.
She saw me and pushed her way thought the crowd to get to me.
Once we reached each other our lips meet.
I wrapped my arms around her and she did the same.
Once we pulled away we smiled at each other.
“I love you,” she said
“I love you too”
“Maya and Matt broke up,”
“Really?”
“Yeah, she was crying in the closet. She told me everything,”
“Let me talk to Matt,”
“Okay, I’m going over to dance with the girls,”
“Have fun,” I called after her.
I looked around for Matt. He was in the kitchen.
“Hey man,”
“Hey,” he said.
“You broke up with Maya for the sophomore didn’t you?”
“Yeah,”
“Dude, I thought she was seeing someone?”
“She is,”
“You are just asking for trouble,”
“Love can make a guy do crazy things,”
I laughed. “I know what you mean,”
He laughed too. “You are so whipped,”
“Yeah, and so are you”
“Yeah,”
“I hope everything works out alright,”
“Thanks man”
I walked out of the kitchen and went back to Violet.
Violet’s Point Of View
I was dancing with Demi and Susan and Maya were dancing together. Cloey joined us shortly after.
“Hey ladies,” Josh said walking up to us.
“Hey!”
“Do you mine if I steal Violet away?”
“No, it’s cool, bye Vi” Susan said
“Bye guys,” I said walking with Josh.
“Let’s go somewhere, where we can be alone,”
“Deal”
Josh drove to my house and he went up to my room while I got a movie.
I walked into my room and saw Josh sitting on my bed.
I sat in his lap so I was facing him. “Hello”
“Hey,”
I kissed him on the lips, then I pulled away shortly.
“That was too short,” Josh kissed me and held me tightly.
I wrapped my arms around him and pulled me closer to me.
We fell backwards on the bed.
Josh’s hand moved up my back and unzipped my dress.
He rolled over so he was now on top and continued to kiss me into the night.
