Josh’s Point Of View
I didn’t want to leave Violet, she was so interesting. I loved talking to her, even though; she was doing most of the talking.
I decided I was going to befriend. She was all I could think about, for some odd reason.
“Joshy,” my thoughts were interrupted by my girlfriend, Cloey.
“Where were you?” she asked wrapping her arms around me.
“Sorry, I was at the library, but I’m here now” I said leaning down to kiss her. She met me half way.
We kissed until the late bell rang. We ran to math class and snuck in quietly.
“Making out, again?” Mick asked playfully.
“Shut up” I said taking out my notebook.

Violet’s Point Of View
Like all my other classes I was the last one to leave.
“Hey Violet” I turned around slowly to see who was calling me.
It was Josh, jogging up to me.
“Hey” I said back.
“How was class?”
“It was okay, I guess. You?”
“Same”
We walked together in silence.
“Why are you doing this?”
“What” he said as he stopped walking.
“Why are you talking to me? Do you feel bad for me? I don’t need your pity”
He looked shocked. “I’m not taking pity on you. I just think you’re a really cool person”
I smiled. “Really?”
He smiled. “Yeah”
“Okay” I said
“So, am I your favorite person again?”
“Sure” I smiled at him as we continued to walk in the hall way.
We talked about random things until we got to my next class. I was a little sad when we said our good-byes. Josh was a really cool guy to be around.
After class, I went to the gym; Josh didn’t walk with me which made me a little sad.
Anyway, I found my gym teacher and he gave me my gym uniform.
As I walked down to the locker room, I some how managed to hit my nose when I opened the door.
My nose we bleeding, it was like Niagara Falls.
“Crap are you okay?” asked Josh, who was already dressed in his gym clothes.
“Yeah”
“No your not. I’ll help you. Put your head back and pinch you nose”
I did as he said. “I’m fine”
“Shh, come with me. Who’s your gym teacher?”
“Mr. King”
“Cool, we have the same teacher, stay here”
Josh left to tell Mr. King that he was taking me to the nurse.
“Let’s go, Vi”
“Vi?”
“Yeah, short for Violet”
I smiled. “Okay”
“Joshy where are you going … with her?” asked a voice.
“Hey, Cloey, I’m taking Violet to the nurse”
“Why? She’s a freak” she whispered freak.
“Babe, we’ll talk later” he said giving her a quick kiss.
He quickly got me to the nurse and told her what happen.
“Okay, I’ll be back with some ice” said the very old nurse as she walked to get some ice slowly.
I was lying on the bed in the nurse’s office with Josh sitting next to me.
“Okay, hon, here’s some ice and a rag. Gosh, you’re like a dang volcano”
Josh and I laughed. “Thanks”
After about fifteen minutes, I stopped bleeding and Josh and I walked back to the gym.
“Are you sure you’re okay?” he asked for the twelfth time.
“Yes”
“Are you-?”
“Yes!”
“Okay” he said as we reached the gym.
“I’ll get changed, see ya” I said as I walked into the locker room.
I quickly got changed and ran out side where the classes were having gym class.
The girls played soccer while the boys played flag football.
I joined the girls and was put on offence. I was barely passed the ball but when I got it I would score.
After gym I had one class left, which was like the rest. After school I found my bus and got on.
“Hello, hon, are you new?” I’ve never seen you on the bus before” asked the bus driver lady.
“Yes”
“Welcome aboard, I’m Lucy”
“Violet”
“Well, Violet, I’ve never seen another person with purple eyes before”
That shocked me. “You know someone with purple eyes?”
“Yes, my mother and my son, his in college now”
“Wow”
“I know and trust me, Vi, the weird looks and name calling you’re getting now will soon end. My son went through it.
“Thanks, Lucy” I said sitting down.
I talked to Lucy until she dropped me off at my bus stop.
I walked to my house, which was half a block away form, the bus stop.
“Hey mom” I said as I walked in my house.
“Hey, honey, how was school?” my mom asked giving me a hug.
“It was school, but I made two new friends”
My mom looked shocked but smiled. “Tell me all about them”
I told her about Josh and Lucy as I helped cook dinner.
Once dinner was ready my dad came home form work. We eat dinner together and talked about our day.
My mom is a dress designer and my dad is a police officer.
“Violet I have a surprise for you” my mom said as she brought out the chocolate cake.
“What?”
“Your grandmother called today”
“What did she say?” I asked eagerly.
“She’s coming in three weeks”
“Really?!”
“Yes, she can’t wait to see you”
I smiled like a little kid in a candy store as I eat my cake.
The rest of the night was uneventful; I did my homework and went to bed.
