Ch 1

I unwillingly got out of my mom’s car and made my way to my new school. Nothing sucks more than being the new kid.
My name is Violet Meyer and I’m sixteen years old. At my old school I was the outcast for one reason and one reason only, my eyes.
I have these really pretty purple eyes. Kids think I’m weird because of it, so, I’m pretty much a loner.
But I want this school to be different. To make this happen I will need to hind my eyes as much as possible. I was wearing a black hoodie with the hood over my head. My black wavy hair was covering most of my face.
Anyway I walked into the office and walked up to the sectary.
“Hello, I’m Violet Meyer” I said polity.
Without looking up she took out a folder with all my information.
“Here you go sweetly” she said smiling at me, I smiled back.
“Hi Mrs. Lock,” said a girl walking in the office, she smiled at me. “You must be Violet Meyer, nice to meet you. I’m Sam Goodman, I’ll be showing you around,” she held out her hand for me to shake it.
I shook her hand. “Nice to meet you,” I smiled back at her.
“Let’s go, we have English now”
Sam and I walked in the hallway together. She did most of the talking to just listened.
Once we got to the class, Sam walked up to the teacher.
“Mr. Hill, we have a new student, Violet Meyer”
“Nice to meet to you, Violet, I’m Mr. Hill and welcome to advanced English,”
“Thanks”
“How about you sit next to Sam and please take off the hood, school rule”
I sighed, “Okay”
I made my way over to Sam and sat down. I slowly took off the hood and ran my fingers threw my hair, so I wasn’t in my face.
A girl turned around to say something, but once she saw my eyes she turned back around. I’m guessing she told her friend to look at me, because she did. Her eyes got wide and turned back around.
I sighed. This is going to be a long school year.
“Okay class, we have a new student, Violet Meyer” Mr. Hill said.
I looked up at him and he saw my eyes, he looked shocked.
“Okay, let’s start class shall we” he said as he walked to the blackboard.
Sam looked at me with confusion written all over her face. I looked at her and she stared to me wide eyed.
At the end of class everyone ran out of the class room.
No surprise.
I sighed as I go up and exited the classroom.
As I was looking for my next class I bumped into what I thought was a wall. My books spilled onto the floor.
“Sorry” I said looking up at the person I bumped into, he was really attractive.
He looked down at me and stared at my eyes.
His friends behind him stared at me in shock too.
“Watch it next time” he finally said.
“Yo Matt are you coming” someone called for him.
“Yeah,” he said walking by me and his friends followed.
I bent down to pick up my books.
“Sorry about Matt, some seniors can be jerks, and others like me, Josh, can be very helpful” he said bending down to help me.
“You haven’t seen me” I whispered.
“Yes, I have”
“Not my face”
“What’s so bad about your face?”
“My eyes”
“Let me see” he said putting his hand under my chin.
I looked at the floor as he lifted my head up.
“Let me see” he repeated. As he said that I looked up and looked into his stunning hazel eyes. He stared at me wide eyed.
“Yeah,” I said standing up. I looked at my schedule and went to my next class.

Josh’s Point Of View
I was still on the floor staring at where the purple eyed girl was.
Not only were her eyes different but they were beautiful. They were like a sea of purple that I would love to get lost in.
Who ever she was I wanted to get to know her, she was beautiful.
As I thought of her I made my way to my next class, which I was late for.
“You’re late” Mrs. Green said as I walked in.
“I know, sorry” I said sitting down with Matt and the rest of the boys.
“Making out with Cloey, again??” John asked.
I laughed, “Not today, just didn’t feel like coming”
“Sure”
“Josh did you see the hot purple eyed girl,” Matt asked.
“Yeah”
“Dude, if she had normal eyes, I would so date her,” Mike said.
The rest of the guys agreed.
She was all I could think about.

Violet’s Point of View
The rest of the morning was like English class; once again I was the freaky weird girl no one wanted to talk to.
I walked into the lunch room after everyone else.
As soon as I walked in the room everyone was quite. I quickly found a table and sat down.
Once everyone went back to their conversations, I went to get my lunch. I sat at the empty table by myself and listened to my Ipod, so I wasn’t totally board.
After my lunch I left the lunch room and went to the library.
On my way there someone tapped my shoulder, which shocked me.
A lot.
I turned around to see the boy form this morning, the one who helped me pick up my books. I think his name was Josh.
“Hello?” I said pausing the song I was listening to.
“Hey”
“Can I help you?”
“Um, yeah, what’s your name, I told you mine but you never said yours”
That was a first, a cute boy talking to me. What’s next? Blue people?
“Violet” I said holding out my hand.
“Josh” he smiled as he shock my hand.
We stood there staring at each other; he never broke eye contact with me.
“You have really pretty eyes” he said.
Wow, I think I saw a blue person.
“Th-thanks” I stuttered.
“Where are you going?”
“Library”
“Cool, I’ll go with you”
We walked down to the hallway together in silence. It was an awkward silence, but I didn’t mind.
At the library we sat at the same table in the back of the library.
I found a good book while Josh did his homework.
I was really was into my book, I was about to find out what happen, when Josh said, “Tell me about yourself”
I looked at him, surprised. “Um, sure”
I sighed and closed my book. I looked at him, he looked at Josh and he looked interested into my life’s story.
I told him everything.
It was nice to have someone to talk to, someone to share things with. When the bell rang, meaning lunch was over; he walked with me to my next class, to hear the rest of my story. I finished my life’s story once we got to my class.
“Bye, thanks for the story”
“No problem, bye”
I walked into the classroom and sat in the back.
There was a pop quiz, which the teacher said I didn’t have to take. So I finished my book, but my mind wondered on Josh.
