Chapter Twenty Three

Mina nodded her head softly.

"Alright. I have to go. I love you." Y/N waved her hand before she opened the door and was about to get out when Mina spoke. "Promise me you will stay away from that Reina girl first." Mina sternly demanded.

Y/N gulped at how serious her wife is. So she nodded her head immediately.

"I promise." And with that, Y/N left the room with Mina to accompany her until the dorm's door.

"WELCOME BACK, BAKLA!" Karl screamed as soon as he saw Y/N walking towards them.

Y/N smiled to him and hugged him. "Gago!" Y/N cussed as she walks to Maxine's direction.

"Hey, Max!" Y/N greeted and hugged her too. "I thought you're not coming back because of your moody preggy." Maxine chuckled along with Y/N.

"Oh no. She understood it." Y/N replied with a smile.

"YOW MAH MEN! WELCOME BA— ARAY! BAKIT KA BA NAMAMATOK NA BAKLA KA HA?!" Reign yelled at Karl who smack her head.

"TANGA! ANG INGAY MO KASI! NAKAKASIRA KA NG LIWANAG NG ARAW!" Karl yelled back.

Maxine and Y/N looked at each other and both shook their heads because of the two.

"Tama na yan. Tara na sa room. Inaantok pa ko." Y/N uttered, stopping the two and the two immediately obeyed.

Y/N started to walk with Karl while the two are walking behind them.

"Hun, oh. Inaaway ako nung baklang ulikba." Reign pouted at Maxine as she wrapped her arm on Maxine's shoulder.

"Tigilan mo ko, pisting yawa na to. Sakalin kita ng golds dyan eh!" Karl rebutted.

Y/N and Maxine shook their heads again as they chuckled.

"Stop it, you two. Hindi na natapos ang araw na hindi kayo mag-aasaran." Maxine softly said as she caresses Reign's cheek.

They arrived at their assigned room for the whole stay and Y/N put her belongings next to her bed as she slammed her body on it.

"Ah, this is so tiring." Y/N groaned as she flipped her body.

Maxine and Reign sat on the next bed.

"We'll let you sleep for a moment, Y/N. Nasa camp lang kami." Maxine uttered as she stood up again.

Y/N looked at them and smiled. "Thanks, guys. I'll get back to work pagkagising ko." Y/N positioned herself comfortably on the bed and hugged one pillow.

"Sige, bro. Puntahan na namin si Karl." Reign waved her hand to Y/N and the latter did the same.

As soon as the couple closed the door, Y/N took her phone out and messaged her wife, saying that she's already in the Philippines and she'll just take a nap. After she sent the message, she let herself be in a deep and peaceful sleep.

"We will have a meeting in less than an hour. Gather everyone in the camp." Director Nam announced as he waved the papers in front of everyone.

Y/N and the others looked at one another with a confused and curious eyes.

"Ano naman kayang announcement yon?" Reign whispered to Y/N.

Y/N shrugged. "No idea."

Two months have passed and they are still in the Philippines, doing their project that has been on going for two months.

Mina and Y/N always make time for themselves. Y/N always calls her wife if she has done doing her part of if she was about to sleep and when she woke up like what she promised. Mina, on the other hand, is currently busy for their upcoming comeback again on April 18. JYP allowed her to be part of the comeback since her tummy isn't noticeable yet and the doctor said, Mina can still do perform but with much more easy and careful choreography.

Mina talked about this with her wife.

Y/N disapproved it at first but when her wife started to whine and sulk, she then gave in.

"Wait, Director Nam. I thought we're going home next week?" Maxine asked with a furrowed brows.

Director Nam looked at Maxine with a sad eyes. "I'm sorry, guys. But it looks like we still have to stay here for a quite while." Director Nam answered earning a disapproving reactions from everyone.

He sighed and raised the papers again. "The Mayor talked to me earlier and we will talk about what we discussed later on. So now, prepare yourself for my announcement." Director Nam dismisses everyone as he walked to his temporary tent office.

Y/N and Reign spread their hands in the air and laid down on the grass.

"This is a fucking joke!" Reign irritatedly shouted. "I want to go home." Reign whined to Maxine.

Maxine held Reign's face and planted a kisses on her cheeks. "We'll be home soon, hun." She replied.

"Damn. Mina will be mad at me again." Y/N scratched her hair irritatedly and frustratedly. Y/N then stood up and fixed her shirt.

"Saan tungo mo, bakla?" Karl asked as soon as he saw Y/N.

"Tatawagan ko asawa ko."

"WHAT?! So you're saying that you won't be here for our comeback? But you promised me!"

Y/N bit her lower lip because of her wife's yell.

Y/N told Mina about their recent meeting about extending their stay in the country for their extended project, requested by the Mayor of the village.

"Baby, please. Understa—"

"Understand?! You're not even here with me to celebrate my birthday last week!" Mina angrily said again.

Y/N can only cussed in her mind because of what her wife said. Mina celebrated her twenty second birthday last week without her wife for the first time. Y/N never missed Mina's birthday until this year came.

Y/N was about to go back to Korea just for her wife's birthday but it was cancelled because of Reina's sudden appearance.

Reina asked Director Nam if Y/N won't leave the country until the project is over— since Y/N is the Vice President of the said project— Reina brainwashed Director Nam and his father to let Y/N stayed. Since then, Director Nam assigned Y/N to work with Reina from now on.

But of course, Y/N didn't tell her wife about it. Not in Mina's current state.

Mina has been in a bad mood lately. The doctor said that Mina has been stressed for the past weeks and she has to be more careful for the baby.

"Babe, I'm sorry. But we had no choice. Director Nam didn't allow me to go back to Korea."

"You said you're going to finish that job as soon as possible. You lied to me." Mina said in an annoyed manner.

"What?! No! I didn't lie to you. Gad, Mina!" Y/N frustratedly whispered and bit her lower lip.

Y/N sighed when she heard her wife crying again.

"Mina, please. Stop crying. Remember what the doctor said? You shouldn't be stressing yourself out too much, baby." Y/N soothed her wife. "I love you, okay? You know that I'm doing the best I can for you and for our baby. Just rest. Eat a lot. Don't be stubborn, arasso?" Y/N added calmly.

Y/N heard a sobs from her wife for a minute then Mina spoke. "O-okay.. I'm sorry. I j-just miss you so bad."

"I know and I miss you too. You have a practice tomorrow, right? I'm looking forward for your comeback. I'm pretty sure it would be another awesome comeback from TWICE." Y/N commented.

She smiled when she heard her wife chuckled softly. "Just always remember that I'm proud of you, baby. I have to go now. I love you."

"Okay. I miss you, Y/N. I love you." Mina replied sweetly as she ended a call with a smile on her face.
