"Jihoonie hyung, where's Woojin hyung? Don't tell me he's still there" Daehwi said.
"Woojin? AH SHIT I FORGOT ABOUT HIM!" Jihoon yelped, pulling out his phone and frantically texting the guy. "I'll tell him and Hyungseob to come over"
Kuanlin looked at Somi with a raised eyebrow. "Yah, why are you still here? Didn't you say you had somewhere 'important' to go to?"
Daehwi caught on and snickered. "Exactly, didn't you say you'd only hang out here for a little while, because someone else was way more important than us, hmm???"
"C'mon you two, I never said any of those things" Somi tutted, brushing back a strand of her hair. "I just told y'all that I had to go to Muel's place after this"
"Samuel?" Jinyoung asked. The last time he had seen the guy, he was in bad shape because of the entire Jisoo thing.
"Ohhh that's right, Jinyoung hyung you missed all of that. Well, while you were gone someone over here got into a relationship with Jisoo's ex, who has now gotten over his jerk phase and is being nice again" Kuanlin explained.
Jinyoung blinked, trying to grasp that fact. It really seemed like he had missed out on a lot.
"Anyways, now that you mention it, I actually have to go" Somi said, checking the time. I told him I'll be there around 10.30, I guess I'll see you guys soon then"
"Okay, bye Somi" Daehwi said.
"Pleaaase tell me the next time you pull out something like this again, Daehwi, I don't want to die from shock" She said, blowing a kiss before leaving.
Now it was just Kuanlin, Jinyoung and Daehwi. Jihoon was texting Woojin and the hyungs had all disappeared into their own rooms. The Taiwanese guy seemed to catch on pretty fast, eyes widening. "Well, I guess I'd better be going, you two probably need some time alone. Bai!"
Welp, isn't this awkward
He looked at Daehwi, who blushed and looked down.
"Did...did it hurt?" he asked, hesitantly.
"Hmm?"
"When...Jisung hyung hit you? Did it hurt?" He brought his hand to the younger's cheek and stroked it softly. Daehwi blushed even more and shook his head.
"Not really"
"That's a relief then...I felt bad that you had to get the slap that I deserved" He muttered.
"Hyung for the last time, you don't deserve that okay?"
"But neither do you!"
Daehwi stayed silent, looking at him. "At least it turned out okay, I mean, I thought Jisung hyung was actually going to kick you out of the house. Thank god Sungwoon hyung stepped in"
Jinyoung nodded in response.
"Hyung..." the younger spoke up. "What...what about your mom? Do you think she knows that you're missing by now?"
"She probably does. But I promise you, Daehwi, I won't leave you behind like last time, I...I'll make sure we won't get separated, hm? You have to trust me"
Daehwi smiled, taking the older's hand in both of his. Jinyoung felt his cheeks heating up. An year ago, skin ships like this wouldn't make him this nervous and jittery. But after such a long time apart, even holding hands felt new. They hadn't done this in a while.
"If I didn't trust you, we wouldn't be here together now, would we?" Daehwi asked making him smile.
"Dae...do you think I can show the hyungs that I really can be better than last time? Do you think they'll believe me?" He couldn't help worrying, the pressure he felt was overwhelming and he felt compressed.
