A/N: This isn’t one of my best pieces of work, and I realised I hadn’t updated this in ages, so I had to update and this was the best I could do. I know this is a bit pessimistic of a poem, but I was seriously lacking inspiration... Also, I am not talking about anyone in particular in this poem (I love my friends!!! I wouldn't replace them for the moon... Okay so maybe for the moon I would..but you know) I was actually just thinking about a specific character when I started and I ended up with this... This isn’t even how I plan for the character to feel or be betrayed... Anyway, to the poem...

FRIENDS ARE NOT FOREVER...
I thought you would be there forever!
But you didn’t notice me disappear...
But when you didn’t look back, I realised
You never noticed when I appeared...
I thought you would care about me forever!
But you didn’t help me when I needed you...
But when saw me and ignored me, I realised
You never cared to notice how I hurt...
I thought you would stay with me forever!
But you always left me alone...
But when you began to always stay away from me, I realised
You never wanted me with you...
I thought you would smile at me forever!
But you seemed more gloom and doom...
But when you smiled at others, I realised
You had never smiled at me before...
I thought I would have you forever!
Beside me, near me, somewhere...
But when you had left, I realised
Friends are not forever...
