I can't even see what's going on right now

K: "hey"
J: "are you guys ready?"
Nat: "I got everything"
K: "do you think we can get something to eat?"
N: "yea sure"
K: "thanks"
N: "anything for my love"

He smiles out as I give him a small smile back.

I look back at grays house and to mine. I take a deep breath and go into the car. I buckle my seatbelt while I look at nick.

N: "you ready?"
K: "yea..yea"

I give a small smile again. We start the car and drive away.

We arrive at the college. Nick parks the car as I get out quickly to get the suitcases out in the back. I get mine out and walk to my dorm. I low key miss Baily. Even though we annoy each other.

I go in front of the old door and jiggle it open. I see Baily on her bed with her phone in her hands.

B: "heyyyy girl"

She goes off her bed and gives me a hug.

B: "how you been girl"

We let go

K: "well a lot of stuff went down"
B: "with Grayson?"
K: "yea"

I go sit on my bed.

B: "so..what happened?"
K: "shit"
B: "what? Tell me everything?"

She makes her self comfortable on my bed.

K: "well..we started back up with the benefits thing..but we got caught"
B: "but I seen you and nick get out of the same car?"
K: "yea..I had to pick who to be happy with nick or gray"
B: "and you pick nick"

I nod my head

B: "are you happy?"
K: "yea..yea..I guess"
B: "you're not happy"
K: "I am"

I smile out

B: "you had to think about it"

I look down and play with my hands.

B: "were you happy with Grayson?"
K: "yea"
B: "there's your answer. You're happy with gray then nick"
K: "but I'm always going to be the one he fucks or the second choice"
B: "did you guys talk after sex..like real talk"
K: "well yea..we've been best friends forever"
B: "does he not want to leave after?"
K: "we mostly fall asleep after we do it"
B: "ok..you're not getting it"
K: "getting what?"
B: "you always been the first choice"
K: "even if that was true. The drama always gets worse"
B: "because you and him don't want to believe that you guys are in love"
K: "I'm happy with nick ok"

I fake smile out

I get out of the dorm and down to the nicks car

K: "hey Baily just wanted to talk"
N: "that's ok"

He gives me a peck on the lips.

I get out the last suitcase and seen a Grayson figure coming towards us.

K: "gray I don't want to see you right now"
G: "are you happy?"
K: "what?"
G: "are you happy?"
K: "yes I'm happy"
G: "are you in love with nick..if you are I'll leave right now and leave you guys alone"

I look at nick and then back to gray.

K: "I can't let you leave"
N: "so you don't love me?"

I look behind me. You can see his anger get more and more by the second.

K: "I'm sorry"

He walks away.

G: "look I love you"

I turn back to him

K: "what if you want Paige or katana?"
G: "I don't want katana or Paige I want you. Only you"
K: "me?"

I say confused

G: "I never told you this but I have been in love with you when I knew how to talk"
K: "what if you change your mind?"
G: "I will never change my mind"
K: "how do you know that?"
G: "in my dreams we were married. We had twins and one fluffy dog with this big house that's all warm and fuzzy. I come home from work and see you the love of my life and my two kids. That dream started in middle school I didn't want to admit that I liked you so I went to katana. I really wish I went to you. but now. I am. I'm going to make that dream a reality for us"
K: "that's the same dream I want for us too..god I just love you"
G: "I love you too"

We kiss as we fall in love more and more while we depend the kiss long and slow it was all perfect.

How we got together is a weird. up and down roller coaster. I never knew finding your soulmate can just be a window away. Sometimes you have to get hurt to find the right one or other people. Love can make you do stupid things you never knew that was love. It might not be your typical boy girl love story but it's ours.

I guess best friends can fall in love it just has to take some time.
