i meant to give you the world, but we lived solar systems apart. i'm sorry i never got to know you as well as i should have. i'm sorry that i knew everyone else, but i'm mostly sorry because you were the only person i wanted to get to know.
i'm sorry that you only knew me as a classmate, and i'm sorry i never tried to be anything more. i'm sorry for these stupid letters that mean nothing, and i'm sorry that they exist. they shouldn't. but neither should your obituary, and that's available online.
