Katiana felt a slightly cold breeze hitting her back and uncovered shoulders. Ripped shirt wasn't best protection against wind yet perfect for summer heat and sun. Broken glass and mirrors reflected sun rays lighting up old world ruined shop. Quickly and noiselessly she passed the hollow spot where there were probably doors in past. Her gaze cautiously moved across the room scanning environment for possible high-humans and fallen, both were a deadly weapons formed by something that humans of old called ,,Crown". She shivered by the single thought of meeting one of those devilish, human shaped creatures. Her knees shook as quick flash of memories came through her mind. Black haired head exploding under pressure of another, blond monster's grab. The blood and pieces of a high human on her shirt. Her own family throwing her out, her own mother threatening to kill her.
"High humans are untouchable... if someone even thinks of their demise... they will be prosecuted... false gods... "
It's been a year since the tragic encounter ruined her life. She should feel hate towards blond man shaped thing however... her emotions were gone... dimmed by survival instinct. Then she heard a move to her right,
"Behind a metal wall"
She thought as a sound of light sloppy footsteps came from behind a metal grocery shop shelf. Whole store was 200 square meters at most. There were enough place to hide everywhere from fallen and plants were helping in quiet movement. Moos was covering what was cold and hard floor changing organized grocery shop into a moss and flower covered cave with unusual build.
"Fallen... at most two... "
She hid behind a wooden box which few decades or centuries before held groceries... now only storing dirt and wild herbs. Looking around she picked up a small stone and threw it behind a metal shelf. As stone reached a metal shelf, stone made only a little sound as grey hand appeared next to it and crushed it with ease, a black figure of bald headed woman with grey skin and no eyes came into Katiana sight.
"An eyeless fallen..."
She taught as bald infected woman started to eat the dust from her hand, ever starved for anything that moves. Katiana quickly moved silently behind another shelf, carefully to not step on any flower, looking for any edible plants or mushrooms. She often came here and met fallen few times already. Now stone eating grey skin was her only companion she could not talk to but watch... human featured creature was only person she seen in few months. Seeing a brown topped Mushrooms she picked them up letting her red hair fall down and touch the ground.

Woman like creature started humming, moving her torso left and right... left and right. Black liquid started to fall like tears from her empty eye sockets.
Then another voice joined the song. It was right next to red haired survivor feet. She looked down to see a black plant growing on a bone looking round stone right next to her left cloth covered foot. The humming was coming from below the flower, as if a stone wanted to accompany fallen in her sorrowful song. The woman didn't attack the sound but moved quickly stopping right before Katiana. They were just an inch from each other, Katiana heart started pounding as infected looked at her with nonexistent eyes, then infected looked down at the stone, not realizing the presence of intruder in her domain.
- My baby... you try to cheer me up... my baby... - said bald woman in polish- come here...
Gray, nearly black hands grabbed a stone as Katiana moved back making sure she doesn't disturb the damned creature. Fallen dig its hands into the ground taking out a small round dolly  looking being with three limbs and one place where leg should take place. Katiana looked at the creature picking rest of mushrooms up and preparing to leave the two to themselves. The small creature with flower of its head kept humming with female infected.
"At most 2... good thing I didn't drop my guard after visiting here few times..."
Katiana silently left the green covered cement cave full of plants, accompanied by the lullaby of the damned.
She looked back at the two before she left, seeing inside of two monsters, a loving mother and a newborn child.
"Even after they fell they care about each other... are Fallen better than humans... maybe we... humans are a livestock..."
She moved between a street full of grey bald laying corpses... ready to kill her if she makes the sound. She looked up feeling warm sensation over her face, enjoying a sun rays with a smile.
"What a beautiful day..."
She thought as she silently walked on the long destroyed street humming a sad lullaby in her mind and passing the graveyard basked in gold.
